Well upon further inspection... Yeah its got a sub and it works fine, and the door fronts just seem to put out sound and no bass/base (depends where you're from), relies solely on the sub for that (duh). This'll just have to do for a long while I suppose. Thanks again for input guys.

Yeah, I know the Bose systems aren't designed to blow me away, but I still feel as if the '03 Bose should ATLEAST sound better than the '94. I still think something just isn't right with it. The fronts hit less than the rears and if its got the sub, I sure can't tell. Thanks for the input so far.

Hey out there, well I got my SSS (black, AWD, '03)and LOVIN it of course. Holy crap is the Bose system wimpy tho! I'm thinking maybe the amp has a blown front output? Looking for responses b4 I trouble shoot. They don't even really move so that makes me think bad amp. My '94 Vette sounds better, and that can't be right.

Hey out there, found this site from youtube. i plan on getting one of these to replace my '03 base silverado( I still own and drive it for now), 5.3 supercharged reg cab, short box, 160 thermostat, exh, and Diablosport custom tune. It's a 6 lb boost and this truck surprises A LOT of vehicles. But I want all the goodies the SS comes stock with. My truck is a base unit (power NOTHING) and I debadged the 4x4 stickers and silverado tailgate badge. Yes... a sleeper. Now for the Q. Is the front of the 6.0 the same as a 5.3? I mean the cylinder bolt holes etc...I plan on putting the blower from my '03 on the SS, and get a custom tune for the SS. I think it's just a different bore and stroke, and the same block. Ok, I gotta go. Thanks for your help in advance.
