  1. I was lookin aorund for at some c.a.i.'s an found an afe it was alittle pricer than the rest but the design def. looks different. Im thinkin it will do a better job at keeping the warm engine air from getting to it, the K&N an AEM looks weak an the volant is good but you have to buy the one piece extra an this is all included. http://www.racepages.com/products/?N=9972+...1588+11920+9194 EDIT: From looking around its really not that much more expensive than the others.........
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04-05-CH...bayphotohosting I liking this but not the price it looks good an pretty stock might have to start saving for this. Fireman, although that aeroforce intecepter gauge does do alot ,I was looking into more of a stock replacment to keep it clean. What i really was wondering is do they make a mph gauge just to swap out of your current intrument panel or is that pretty hard to do? An although 140 is better than 120 i was looking for 160, it would be perfect i think.
  3. Well here soon my SS is going to ba able to go faster than 120, but I wanna know just how fast I'm going, heard someone talk about replacing the MPH Gauge, How many of the guys on here have really done that? If you have done this i would love to see a pic do they make a replacment that will match our stock gauges kuz I like them.
  4. Well i went to my local shop an this friday i will have the same thing, i'm pretty stoked except for the x pipe
  5. well keep your foot in it alittle longer it will stop trust me...
  6. your truck is the actual truck i saved in my favorites as what i wantd my truck to sound like thats crazy so you have 3'' piping from the headers back to the 2 44's an then to more 3'' piping then the tips? is that right?
  7. I was looking at my exhaust an it is stock also my muffler has duak ins an dual outs then the pipes come together then it goes to the tip is this normal
  8. Been lookin at mufflers an listening to exhaust clips over an over for a week now. One of the best exhausts Ive heard was a flowmaster super44 but i hear alot about magnaflows mufflers but there are so many, which one will give a nice deep tone, an not sound overwhelmed an raspy there are so many different lengths of magnaflows an nobody specifies part numbers in the clips so i don't know what im listening to. Any help will be greatly appreciated if you leave a link to a sound clip please tell me what muffler it is it will help me make my decision so much faster.
  9. its cool man just tryin to help most guys won't post replys to a thread jack
  10. Talk about a thread jack. You could post up your own topic ya know? Just a suggestion if you want some answers.
  11. thanks thats what i was lookin for
  12. Eh my stock 03 does about 112 an its governed i was just curious to what the Sss would do stock without being governed
  13. Yea i seen that but it does not not say anything about a stock top speed run he had intake, headers an exhaust on the truck that did 155mph with 350 rwh but thanks i get the idea
  14. oh what if i don't want to go that low? can i just lower the back like 3 iches an adjust the front to match that i was going to go with the mcguaphy's 2/3.5 kit but i want it to look good not lower in the back.
