Yuuppp.... I still have her.

She's still for sale.

that's a fair price considering the condition, miles and mods his truck has
Thank you, at least one person agrees.

WOW.....
Thanks, "I Got To Make A Comment For Everything Guy"
Now as far as price; I just checked with KBB and it shows private seller @$24.4K and I'm the lowest price for 05 AWD SS's in the AutoTrader, though there are only three in the US for sale with a price margin of $18-30

Alright, alright new deal, $24,000. If you're military, $23,500 and a free K&N oil filter. What do you think now???
The oil filter is still part of the deal.

im not a fan of tci products but this is pretty cool , to bad its only good for 850 hp
How many more do you want? lol
If the price tag isn't crazy, it may be a fix for our TBSSs. Though I'm not a fan of the paddle shift.

I also would like to know what they actually are meant for; dust, heat distribution, noise cancellation or just plain looks.

SHHHH!!!!!!!!T. The one time I dont check the gathering section, I miss out on one.

no, with RWD 100% of your power goes to the rear wheels, with AWD the transfer case splits the power to 38% front and 62% rear I believe.....
I do recall this being true. I'm glad you said it first, I was going to say it was 32/68. No matter what, you put a stock AWD vs a RWD, rain or shine the AWD is going to whoop your ass of the line. Now I'm saying STOCK here RWD'ers, so don't jump my case. I know you guys are fast... when it's dry.

Just an update, I got my gauge pod replaced just over a month ago. It was a good thing I got it replaced when I did both my tach and trans gauge were inop. I guess only certain trucks were having gauge issues and under the recall. I was just lucky to have a guy on the inside.

Sorry guys. I never received an email notification on the replies. Yes it is still for sale and I just edited the price in the first post, asking $24,500. I posted the link to my garage but it is black and I'll put more photos up. I'm also posting a link explaining the Pace Edwards Bed Locker, http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry546119. I'm located in Surprise. Once again I'm sorry for the delay.

Yet another Bump.

Yes she's still around. I even dropped the price a bit.

SH!T. Where were you a month ago?

After shooting my ramps out from under me twice and two tailgates later, I now do it by myself. I own an YFZ so it’s not too heavy. I just lock the parking brake, lift it on its back wheels, release the brake and walk it until the front tires are close enough to land on the tailgate- be sure to get on the front brake just in case! I then grab my 6pk rack, do a quick little clean & jerk and it’s in.

Thanks for the feedback.

Nice runs man. I hope to get out there in the next few weeks myself to see how the truck does.
Just a little heads up, they’re getting kinda cheap out there. Everybody was complaining of the track quality, mainly about the lack of water @ the box and they weren’t laying any sticky out. I guess they didn’t have water that night, so everybody’s times were affected. I’m AWD w/305s, so I know I wasn’t having any traction issues. They were shutting lanes down off and on all night long. Once I waited in the staging lanes for over 45min and it wasn’t even that busy. With all that waiting around lead to a bunch of trash talk. Throughout that time I came to this conclusion, rice burner drivers are such cry babies. I presume they were a little angry that my 6000+lb truck whooped the sh!t out of their 2000lb POS.
Let me know when you go, I still have to do a stock run for my TBSS.

So last night before I went to the track, my tach went crazy on me. At idle it was dead but when I drove around the block at 25mph it was all over the place. She's running normal, no missing or anything. I saw something a while back about a GM recall w/the speedo, same thing???

Nice kills! I would have thought your times would have been faster then that, but you must be way above sea level. Your 305's are only about 5lbs heavier then the 275's, so you would only gain about 20lbs overall.
What did your time slip look like from your best run?
