I have headers, Cai, cat back, and high flow cats. When I hit the gas to do a brake burn or take a corner at wot the truck shuts down electrically then comes alive again. Any ideas?

It could also be your computer is reading the alcohol content in your gas too high. I just had the same issue. Had the computer reset to 3% alcohol it was reading 60 at the time. Issue resolved.

Yeah I have the headers. Cat deficiency codes keep coming up. Its a tight fit under there to add high flow cats. Ill check into the midpipe.

if i delete them will the engine throw up some codes.

Hello my catalytic converter is shot on the passenger side. Its making a loud rattle and sometimes blocking flow. What options do I have to fix this beside replace. I am in an area with no emission tests. Thanks

Hey fellas sorry for all the threads. I found a transmission guy where I'm at to rebuild my transmission. He said it will be 1800-2000cdn. I asked him about a shift kit and he said \i shouldn't need one that he would be able to make it shift nice by adjusting some other things. He said he would put in a corvette servo and sonnex servo. What other parts should i get him to put in. And what questions should i ask him about the build. He said he would give me a one year warranty.

Okay guys here's the deal, I'm in a province in canada on the border of maine. I can get a tranny shipped with a new converter to maine for free. Now here the problem is this tranny completely ****ed or could there be something easy to fix on this. As of right now I have no second gear but all other works fine at low speeds. I am only going to be here for one more week and need to make a decision and I can't get the time off work to get into a tranny shop. Should I wait till I go home and see my mechanic because it could be an easy problem or order now and get it in before i leave. It is not shifting right I have reverse drive and 3rd and 1st. Could it be a modual or a dirty filter or am I ****ed. Someone with some knowledge please give me a hand as I don't have much time to make a decision. Thanks guys I'm a little stressed. The truck has 97000 kilometers on it.
