  1. I recently got myself into some BIG trouble, I still don't want I'm facing, I'll prob have a better idea on my next court dates. The feeling of not knowing whats going to happen/preparing yourself for the worst is killer.... many sleepless nights. Definitely changed my life and I still have more changing to do. I know that everything will work out for the better in the end, it'll be rough in between though. Tell him to just hang in, and learn from the mistakes.

  2. Dont worry about it 03mass thanks everyone for tips and help. Yeah I was just trying to figure out how I would sell the truck without title in hand. My truck has just over 80,000 miles got it in 2008 with 24,000 miles 80 % miles are highway I drove it to myrtle beach and back , also to Virginia and back, and I drive round trip 45 miles a day to work all high way. To be honest im not sure what to ask for the truck I dont know what would be a good price. I just want to pay off the loan and get a beater for now so I have no payments.

I went to a dealership down here in lower ct, I was only offered 13K for mine... The dealer ship wants it to be as stock as possible. I walked away from that because i still owed 12K on it at the time, I have an 03, w/ 60K on it, minor bolt on's... Pay it off and buy a beater is the choice that I'm going with. Highest offer i got off of craigslist was 12K :wtf:

IMO I feel that alot of people are trying to sell there SSS's now because of the hard times, but with all of these trucks for sale the value at which you could sells your is going to hurt, I myself would not take that big of a dive of the value unless you absolutely need too :chevy:

  3. Sounds like it may be a power issue, check your connections and may possibly need a relay.

Also flip flop the lights from the pass. side to the driver to see if the problem persists on the other side, if so it may be a ballast, if it stay to driver side with the other ballast its more than likely a power problem

  4. You were laid off because you are studying for a Real Estate License, as far as your employer was concerned, you were gone anyway. They'll get another 15 year old kid to replace you...

Good luck with your new career!

Yeah thats my guess, but the four other people that got let go had nothing else going on

Anyhow, we have a new advanced auto parts store that just opened up a couple months ago, I'm gonna give them a shout and hope for the best

  5. I spent just about 7 hours calling about ever 10 minutes to try and get through to the department of labor here in Connecticut to start collecting unemployment :(

I walked in to work on tuesday and before i was able to clock in, I was told that i was being let go along with a few others. Was not expecting that at all, numbers weren't too far off from last year and we had done a lot of cut backs and improvements to help us stay afloat. I've worked at this bike (bicycle) shop for over 5 years now, since i was 15 years old. I was one of the top mechanics and sales people their. Worked on just about everything their was to work on in that shop, cheap department store bikes to bikes that cost as much as our trucks. I've custom tuned suspension, pretty much can tear down any shock or fork and rebuild it, along with pretty much Fox suspension product... I'm pretty mechanicaly inclined when it comes to cars to. I've done motor swaps, clutches, differential work, etc... just not a certified auto mechanic.

I currently go to class at night trying to get real estate license, I have only ten more classes to go until I can take my test and hopefully get my license. Then after that i have home inspector classes lined up. My father has been a home inspector in the area for about 15 years now and self employed and mother is real estate broker that is also self employed. Money is definitely hurting for them in this economy, but things are starting to look up so far 2010.... Hopefully i can hold out and get my licenses and their business will pick up and can go work for either one of them.

Any suggestions toward anything i should look into? so far i've been turning up empty in my short period of searching... Gotta come with some extra money so i can try to hold onto the truck and make the payments :chevy:

Btw, I can thank obama for one thing, the extra $25 in stimulus for unemployment
