They Locking Gas Caps at NAPA Auto Parts. Well im sure other places got'em 2, but thats where I got mine a while back. How do the people that steal the gas, out of ur car do it- without messing with the tank? Like, how do they get it out from where the Cap goes? They suck it out? With what? ...im not trying to learn how to do it, just curious. Oh, @ SS, are u really selling that beauty? Wow...

$6.22 a Gallon, by the time Thanksgiving comes around?

With these Gas prices, street racing is the last thing on my mind. One time, back in early 2007 I was on the highway and 2 trucks that seemed 2 be traveling together pulled up to me. One on the right, the other on the left. They were both the same truck as mine, Silverados, but 1 was Stepside. We were going, and 1 goes up a little as to initiate the race and then the other one... then they wait. ...I dont go up. ...they slow down- and we're in the same position again, me in the middle. They do it again, and wait for me but this time I go... I pass'em up and they take off. LOL. ...I guess that's not really a good story. Oh well.

Ok. I got a Speeding Ticket, allegedly doing 55 on a 45. The Cop said he "Clocked me" at 57, but he put 55. Anyway, he checked my Insurance & Driver's License- then he came over to hand me the ticket & sign it. As he stood there, he looked at my tires/wheels... He says, "You know, with big wheels like these (I have 22's) sometimes the Speedometer doesnt match how fast you're actually going." Or something like that, I forgot the exact words. Then I said, "Oh. Well yeah, now thinking about it- I see what you mean." And he's like, "Yeah because I have big wheels on my truck as well. I had it Certified." Me- "What's that? "Certified." Him- "Speed Certified. You take it a shop, they hook it up to a Dyno and figure out then "correct" & match your Speedometer to how fast your wheels are actually going." Me- "Oh, I didn't know they did that." Him- "Yeah. Take the Certificate they give you, to the court... and maybe they will work with you on the ticket." Me- "Oh ok. Thanks, I think I'll do that." Me- "Die slow, pig." ...nah, just kidding. I didnt say that last part. ________________________________ Then he left and it was over. So anyway, that was a pretty long read for ya. Let me get to the point- Im trying to find a place that does that thing, "Speed Certification". -Anyone know where? Im in Houston. -Or what is that machine called? Dyno- what? -I was thinking like one of those shops that do State Inspections... -Oh, and anyone know how much it'd be? _____________ (I didn't think of asking the Cop where he went for his. Dumbass, I know.) I Googled anything I could think of, but nothing came up. Thanks for any help/advice.

Do Tonneau Covers (however you spell it, "Bed Covers") really save gas? Im assuming they do, but it might just be something they say- to sale them. I wanna get that really thin one. Fiberglass. -It looks like it's almost an inch thick, so its really low profile. -Im sure its more than 2K though...
