i want to thank everyone for there advice, and yes i did mean 9s in the 1/4. i'm a big dreamer and all about go big or go home! as soon as i have any updates on the progress i will be sure to post for everyone to see. my tech and i are sure it is possible, but will like you guys said take some $$$$. the current plan is to run an F series procharger with an undetermined amount of cubes and nitrous. first off however is the brakes, which we are adapting a set of Z06 brakes to fit.... should turn out nicely. there are a lot of details to work out yet, but i will keep you all updated!

this may be a dumb question but would the 2wd rear swap over to the awd trucks? they are 14 bolt vs 10 bolt correct?

i want my SSS to run in the 9 sec range, but i'm not sure how much the factory drive train can handle. i know the trany needs to be upgraded but what about the diffs and transfercase?? also, i'm wondering how much hp/tq it would take to accomplish my goal? any information is greatly appreciated.

i'm 21 and from south central PA. nice little town with nothing to do but make things faster! this is my first forum so once i figure it all out i'll put some pics up. i do agree that black is fast -2001 sierra C3, 1987 camaro Z28 IROC, 1999 eclipse GSX, 2006 mustang GT- all were black and some what fast. time for something new, plus i have the only red SS in town (at the moment)

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. My names Nick, and i just purchased an 05 victory red awd SS less than a week ago. I've always loved these trucks, and i want to start moding right away but i don't really know what the weak and strong points are. Any pointers are greatly appreciated!
