    I'm not understanding your question? Are you saying ported heads and an intake change are not worth it? I guess i never dyno'd just a head change with out a cam, but i would say its still very much worth it. Most guys will choose to up the compression as well when switching heads, which is also very much worth it, 11:1 is still very streetable, I'm in the 11.4-5 range on pump gas.

     

    If your asking about the use of the stock intake and ported stock 317 heads, then yes they are very good as well. With a cam and ported stock head motor through a stock intake and throttle body i put down 425 to the wheels and ran a 12.82.

     

    As far as the intake, i dyno'd my buddies truck with trick flow heads and a cam through the stock intake and TB and it put down 465 to the wheels.

     

     

    So my question to you is what do I need to go with my 317 heads or l92 heads .... I just bought a l92 intake ?

    Im having a company (close friend of mine) who makes carbon hoods for the atv's make a prototype. He said he would make me one but to have him make them for the general public would be a little tough as he is busy with his own thing. Anyone interested by chance?
