So here's the deal. Love the truck but just had a kid and need something easier to drive him in. The truck is in great condition with only 32,000 miles still under warranty. I've babied this truck every second I've driven it and boy is it a beauty. Looking to sell this truck asap. The truck is fully loaded and comes with every factory option. It also has a pioneer Avic d3 in-dash navigation unit. I have stock rims and 24'' Tis 08 rims for summer. I'm located in Mn. I will post pics tomorrow when i get the chance. 22,000 obo. Great deal. have to get rid of it :(

4 Tis 08 24'' rims that came off my 07 Silverado SS. Wrapped in toyo tires that were over 300 a piece. These cost me over 3000 at the time. Asking 2000 obo free shipping. Posted pic of rim off internet will post pics of actual rims tommorrow. Selling my truck so need to sell these. Great deal. Less than 3000 miles on these no burnouts.

I'm looking to make my back tailights darker then only question is how? At first painting them looked the best but then i saw some tailight covers which looked great. Do the covers look as good as some painted lights would? Only positive to the covers is i can remove them.

any1 down at carcraft? I'm thinking about going down this weekend whats the scoop?

Would you be willing to do my lights for some money if i shipped them to you? This is a little too advanced for me i think haha. It looks amazing though. I was gonna spray paint mine until i saw this method.

woops double post. I'm wondering does the machine lip stand out as much as the chrome lip would? Looks like most people go with the chrome lip just wondering if the mach lip looks a lot duller. The lips key when the rims are black on black obviously.

ya I'm gonna go with the twenty fours. Right now I'm not really looking for speed. Still on a 3 year/36000 warranty and once thats up im throwing a supercharger on. Not to mention one more speeding ticket my liscense says good bye. Gonna go with some black rims, only option now in mach lip or chrome. Found some nice black machine lipped 24's I'm just not convinced that lip will stand out enough like crome will. Considering getting chromes and just getting them powder coated.

How well do 24's fit on an SS? Do they rub at all does anyone know. I've heard they do but looks like some people on the site have them. If they don't fit well I'll probably just go with some 22's and lower it. thanks.

thanks guys i'll be taking a look there tomorrow. I wish the 20'' stock rims didn't look so good already. It makes me wonder if the moneys really worth it for the 22's. As far as money goes are some rims/tires too cheap to even buy. I mean I'f I'm looking to get a nice set of 22's with tires how much should i be looking to spend to make sure i don't get super low quality stuff? I figure anything 1500-2000 for both should be pretty decent. However i see some sets going for 3000+ it makes me think if I'm spending enough on them. I'm new to mods so any help is appreciated thanks.

I'm looking at a lot of rims/tire packages because i don't really wanna buy them separate. However I could probably get nicer stuff if i DID buy them separate but I don't know much about brands and whats nice. Right now I'm looking at stuff on Ebay from a brand called GEO wheels. Anyone heard of this or know about the quality. I'd appreciate it if someone could post some good brands to buy rims from. I'm from Minnesota and i can only have my rims on my truck about 4/5 months out of the year anyways so I don't need quality tires anyways.

I just bought my 07 Black SS and I'm looking at some 22' rims to put on it. Just wondering/making sure that i need to buy new tires as well with rims. I cant just take the rims off the stock tires and put the new rims on the tires can I? I'm sure this a dumb question but any help is appreciated. Thanks,

thats sick man you could sell those things like nothing i bet lol. I'm just gonna remove it and fill the holes in and paint them chevy black.

ya MN does require a front plate. However I'm just going to put it in the front windshield they left you do that. I see most people on the site have theirs removed just wondering do you just let the holes sit out or what?

also can you make most exhuast systems go out before the tire or do you have to order one's that are designed for that?

Just wondering are the headers in the Dynatech Supermaxx header system the same headers that are in the Dynatech full exhuast system?

Topic explains it. I want to remove the plastic liscense plate holder on the bumper. Seems to be held on by adhesive. Should i just rip it off or what

I recently bought a 07 SS 6.0L and have been looking to make improvements on it to increase performance. The problem is almost EVERY web site i look at doesnt make parts for the 07 yet. It usually stops at 06. However its the same engine and pretty much the same truck just newer. My question is do you think I'll be safe buying those items (headers/exhaust/CAI/ect.) that are designed for like an 05-06 SS and put them on my 07 which has the same 6.0L engine. Thanks.

I'm new to these forums and recently just bought a 2007 black on black SS. I'm looking at putting some money into this truck to increase the horsepower. Just wondering what some good ideas are to increase horsepower and make it faster for a low cost. Some obvious ones are a cold air intake, a power chip, and a new exhaust. Anyone else have some other options for me?
