You'll need to find a compatible operating system for your truck from one that had an 80e. Then email both files to hptuners (if that's what software you run for tuning) and they will do it for you. Then you'll need to run the 2 wires to make the ISS. Pretty simple swap. My tuner wanted to try it with the 60e file and frost harness, my converter won't lock on its own which is why I recommend going straight to the 80e segment...which is what I'm about to have to go back and have done.
Did you get one of those tubular crossmembers off of the guy on PT.net?

Take into consideration also you will most likely have a lot of body/paint work to do as well.

$1000 for cladding (without brackets)
$200 (a piece) for oe bumper covers
$600-700 for a set of rims (with shit tires)
$400-600 for a pair of seats (without the console)
This is just a guestimate from what I've seen online recently.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you able to provide an estimate from cheap to expensive? I did some quick searching and couldn't seem to find much info on the cost of cloning.
Because there is no estimate, it all depends on the availability on parts. You guys come in asking the same question on price but there is no straight up answer. My best advise is search on Craigslist all over (don't just stick to your area)

I have an extra license plate bracket no need for it how's about $50 shipped, no hardware included.

I would recommend going straight to an 80e segment swap if you can. I am not able to lock my converter up unless it is commanded with hp tuners on the laptop plugged in. Plus you won't need a harness. You only need to make a small 2 wire for the speed sensor. Very easy to do.
Please elaborate on what is needed to accomplish this. Looking to do the 80e swap into my AWD and trying to figure out the easiest route.

Did those old whipple kits not come with injectors? I'm interested just curious of what all will be needed for the install.
You'll need injectors and a tune. I'm keeping my injectors.

Mileage is around 50xxx, I'm not interested in trades at the moment. Its the 2.3l, ill work on a video.

Does this kit work with a 4.8 with a 3 bolt dbw throttle body? How many miles on the kit do you have the part number
Not entirely sure if it will, it can fit 99-06. Don't have a part number.

Never dyno'd it so not sure on the numbers. Yes, definitely bigger injectors.

Selling my whipple side mount supercharger im building a new engine and going in a completely diffrent route with it. Comes with intake, tensioner, belt, pulleys and brackets.
