i have yet to install the kit due to my current location, want everything in place for when i go home........ doing things right the first time is one of things i try to focus on so i dont get bit in the ass later on and regret sh!t...

almost all my parts on my b18c1 build was bought on ebay, 90% of my parts between the axles and my valve cover were all ebay parts, name brand of course. the only issues i have is with the intercooler being to small for my goals. the greddy kit i got was 100% authentic and saved me a few dollars purchasing it on ebay... ended up making 323whp@18psi on a mustang dyno and currently running 268whp@11psi daily..... although i dont personally have experiences with the bootleg kits there, i'm pretty sure that 95% of the time they break because of abuse. many of the turbo set ups sold on ebay are from companies that dont have the financial capability to go all out on r&d, so a lot of their stuff dont function right on high boost. 5 out of 8 people i know with ebay turbo kits have had no issues because they use it to the levels of boost that the kit reccomends, the other 3 break manifolds and turbos because they try to get numbers that the kits do not have the capability to produce. i say go for it and dont go overboard, 5-7psi on those ebay kits and you should be alright.

i may be moving back to hawaii to become a recruiter and heard the rumors that the gov will only ship one of my cars (which will def be the sss) so i may have to sell my wifes car. before i got the sss i was looking into getting a 08 G8 GT that pontiac makes. car looks clean and has ALOT of potential to throw up some nasty numbers as well as what i would call the best damn price tag for what it does. fully loaded with moonroof, good reviews, option for 6 spd, lots of space, and looks sexy for 32ish off the lot. finding them used will be hard because of the fact that it just came out, just wanted to know if anyone here has one or knows anyone that has one. i can find rewiews all day, but hearing first hand will make me feel better... lemme know what yall have to say!

if you gave me 30k you can have mines! 36k miles, 2005, awd, silverbirch, moonroof, linex with color match, mesh aftermarket grille, added others that arent installed (groundforce 2/2 drop kit, rikensport hid 8000k, powder coated blk air intake).... i know its alot to ask, knowing that i paid alot less, but will let it go if the money is right!

what size nozzle and kit part #, does it come with valves? pump run dry or wet? sureflow pump or other?

I was in the same situation, but going backwards in life and hated school. I joined the army when I was 20 and planned on getting out after I fulfilled my 4yr enlistment... I still couldn't decide, so I re-enlisted for another 4 to finish up the 4yrs that the army could use to call me back in... In those 4 years I used my tuition assistance to get my welding certification at savannah tech and will be doing something when I get back to get a degree in the automotive field. My plans were to get out and go to school (was suppose to get out in apr 09), but my wife got pregnant, so I stayed in for the sake of my daughter... BTW, I have 3x the bennefits that my mom has, the Military in general has the best benefits I have ever seen. In Jan i will have 8 yrs in the army, have the option to retire at 40 and have all the education I will need to do what I live doing. My GI Bill will never get touched and will be given to my daughter when she decides to go to college. My current plans are to retire after 20 years, get another gov job and collect a 2nd retirement after 10yrs, then relax with my wife (she is currently finishing up her degree to become a teacher) who should be retireing also... living comfortably w/3 retirements, smoking weed, and enjoying life.... most of my cousins are around the same age as me.... all 4 of them averaged a 3.8GPA+ in high school and have degrees to become doctors, lawyers, and engineers, but are also head over heels in dept $60k+ and still live with their parents... I used to have a 2.1 gpa in highschool, graduated at the skin of my teeth, and hated school, but now i am the only one on my own, with MY OWN HOME, almost half way to retirement, going to school (paid for by the army) to do the things i want to do when my time comes.. The military pay aint that great, but if i can manage a mortgage, 2 vehicles, 2 cell pnones, internet/sat tv, insurance, food, and everything else it takes to live, that is all i need.. OK, I NEED TO STOP, YOU ARE STARTING TO MAKE ME FEEL OLD! PS, THE ARMY IS NOW GIVING 40K AWAY FOR HOMES FOR FIRST TIMERS!

sounds like you got access to hop flights...... go to okinawa, amsterdam, take advantage of the FREE hop flights and go to another country! if not that, you could always go back to your hometown and visit family and friends... theres no place like home.
