  1. Put some heat wrap around the header in the places where they may touch
  2. Sorry i sounded like an idiot. Like i said being out here tryin to get all this squared away is difficult. My friend had mentioned that he thought it was 4 cats on there without looking and me not remembering it sure made me sound like a dumbass. I really appreciate all your help. Thanks again!! Johnny page
  3. So you are saying that i can delete all 4 cats, put and x pipe on, 2 high flow cats and not have to delete any o2's?? I am at work on the riverboat tryin to figure all this crap out. Makes it difficult when i can't be there to look at it. And by the way i hadn't sprayed the truck in over a year. It was fun at first, but after u outrun enough people and take there money word spreads fast. LOL LOL!! Loved seein the mustangs go down. They never saw it coming. My truck did run a 8:14 with a 1.74 sixty ft. cant remember the mph. Thanks for the info fireman31!!!!
  4. Hey man i appreciate the info. I got a few more questions though. I am not tryin to blow the world away with my SS. I already have a street rod for that. I really don't want long tubes or tunes or another exhaust system. I wanna keep my stock manifolds, put and x pipe on and eliminate all cats on the truck and put two hi flow cats in place of them keeping the my flowmasters which took the place of the stock muffler. Is this possible without gettin a tune for the truck? How do i delete the rear o2's in the PCM? Hope i don't sound like an idiot? Thanks,, JP
  5. Thanks alot!! All info. is greatly appreciated.
  6. I appreciate the info. I will message ya and get the link from ya. Thanks again. I am not sure about the zippy tune though!!
  7. I did something similar as to what your talkin about except i cut the stock muffler out and replaced it with 2 3" two chamber flowmaster placed upright back into the factory tip and it sounds absolutely great. Runs better too..... GOOD LUCK
  8. Hello everyone! I am new to this site. I have an 03 SS awd silverado with a few bolt ons, nitrous, and 2 3" FLOWASTERS that replaced the stock muffler. I just had a cat go bad on my truck causing it to miss on number 1 and 7 cylinders. I wanna put and offroad h pipe on it and eliminate the cats. I cant find any h pipe made just for the truck. I got a good muffler guy so thats really no biggee. I need to know about where the o2 sensors go and what will keep it from throwing a code at the computer. Thanks for your time and all info. will be greatly appreciated. Got any questions for me just ask. Glad to be a member!!!!
