good morning,havn't been here for awhile...the website dosn't remeber my password, so i have to change it every time i go on here..anyway....... i have heard a lot about a "ANTENNA-DELETE" for the silverados...anyone know about these?..and where to find one? it's a real pain putting on the cover,and having to unscrew the antenna everytime..... ALSO...on the timeslip site...doe anyone ever take out a "BONE-STOCK" truck to see what it will do?? THANKS IN ADVANCE....RICK.69SS

good morning...been awhile since i've been on here... i have a disagreement with a person.....he says they make a "factory fog light" for a '05 ss........and i say no they don't..a chevy partsman says they don't... they do make a silverado fog light that may fit..... who is right??.........

hello!..i havn't been on here for ahwile,,,i couldn't get my password to work,,well,here i am again! i've read these inputs on performance add-ons,,but no one ever mentions what their gas milage is,,or was before they started......and i havn't seen anything done on a intimidator ss.are they tuned differently from a standard ss?do they have a different exhaust from a standard ss?i see most people change their exhaust because the stock one dosn't sound good....i havn't heard another chevy that sound like mine...... i'm thinking of starting with a diablo engine tuner...........thanks for listening..rick.69ss

good morning all!.. i have a 06 ss intimidator,,and have been thinking of changing the muffler..but to me i the stock one sounds fine,,is this any different from a standard ss?...... and if i do change the muffler,,what is a good brand that is not gawd-awful loud?? / THANK YOU ALL!!....looks like i'm shopping for a magnaflow...i heard they are really good for the shelby gt500 also...as far as the flow masters..i have them on my ss cars..and not really impressed with them,sorry........

thanks to all responses...i think i will look into the air intake,,and the exhaust system.....as far as doing add-ons,,and trying to keep your foot out of it,,,it's kinda like being on a diet..."you can splurge once in awhile!"............................

thanks for the replies...i guess you're right..the more power stuff you put on,,the more you'd be likely to put your foot into it.....but,,sometimes it would be ok. also..do any of you know if you install an aftermarket air intake system,do you have to recalibrate anything??....i thought about the cat-back exhaust..but have you really looked at the size of the stock ss exhaust?..is the intimidator larger??..... i want to drop it befor i take pictures...............

RIGHT NOW MY TRUCK IS COMPLETLY STOCK......BAD THING IS I HAVE A 70,000 MILE WARRANTEE!..IT ONLY HAS 10,300 MILES ON IT NOW............RICK.69SS

TO REMOVE THE FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET,I USED ABOUT A 5/16 DRILL BIT..AND DRILLED THE RIVETS OUT......BE CAREFULL NOT TO"SPIN" THE RIVET TOO MUCH,OR IT MIGHT MELT THE PLASTIC AROUND IT.....THEN CRAWL UNDERNEATH AND PULL THE REMAINDER OF THE RIVET OFF WITH A PAIR OF PLIERS,OR SIDE CUTTERS........ IF YOU'RE IN CALIFORNIA,HOPE YOU DON'T GET STOPPED BY AN OFFICER OF THE LAW FOR NOT HAVING A FRONT PLATE........RICK.69SS
