  1. I appreciate the help guys. I know a little about performance, but not a lot. Here are a couple of questions that arose from your responses. What are servos? Haha. I really don't know. Are there good gains from deleting the cats? I live in Texas, so getting an inspection sticker will be no problem. If I did go ahead and (gulp) spend the money for the dynatechs, would no cats be better than cats? I'm pretty sure that it will throw codes like crazy until I get a tune. Which brings me to yet another question. I broke a valve spring at about 10,000 miles. When I did, the truck threw 3 codes. Engine, Stabilitrack, Traction control were all going off because of the setup with the new trucks. One system fails, it forces others to fail. I have no idea why? Here's the question. I install my cold air intake and 160 deg. thermostat. Then I take it to a shop to get the headers installed. If there's no cats it's gonna really piss off my truck. Do I drive it to the dyno tune shop? Trailer it? Last question.....my truck has 3.53 gears I believe. 3.33 in the AWD version. What would happen with 3.73s? 4.10s? Can a tune patch that swap? I'm sorry to ask all these questions......it's hard to find the info about these trucks. Most guys that have them are retired and playing golf. Not 25 yr olds lookin to whoop some Stangs and Cummins ass! Thanks for all your help.
  2. Hey.....Tyler Texas here. No SS, but I I have an 07 Sierra Denali 2WD NBS with the 6.2 L92. All I have is a drop in K&N filter, a Cherry Bomb Pro single in dual out turndown, and some color matched GMC emblems. (not shown in old photos) I've worn the BRAND new off the truck and now I want some headers, intake, and a dyno tune to get things started. Any suggestions or links to good parts would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I don't mean to sound dumb but, (FTW)? FI? I don't know what that means. Haha. Do you have some links for the long tube headers for my truck......all I can find are the Dynatechs.
  4. Thanks dude. I found some Dynatech headers, but they are two piece. 1 piece for 850, the other(cat) for about 600. I don't know about you, but I'll drive my Nali off a bridge before I'll pay 1500 bucks for headers. Do you know where to find the long tubes for my truck, and can I delete my cats if I tune the truck?
  5. OK, I'm new here. I don't have a SS, but I have a 2007 Sierra Denali RWD NBS with the 6.2 L92. I want to hop it up WITHOUT a supercharger, or getting into cams, piston ect. My idea is this. 2008 Corvette LS3 intake manifold (more for looks and shock value than performance) 2008 Z06 fuel rails 2008 Z06 injectors MSD ignition Volant cold air Catalytic delete 2008 Z06 90mm throttle body Custom dyno tune I need to know if these things will fit. the 08 Vette LS3 is a 6.2 and are running Z06 fuel rails and injectors to get them up to 436hp. My tuck has 403 hp and I want to get as close as I can to 450-475 without getting too crazy. You guys seem to be on point.....let me know what you think.
