Just curious to see what feedback I can get... Bought some chrome mirror caps from my local truck parts/accessories store and are stick on type made from stainless steel. Been on the truck less then 2 weeks. Looking to replace with the gloss black caps from any SS.. Either cap should fit either mirror. Paid $80 for the chrome caps.

was this an off the shelf comp cam? i like the sound of it and would consider it for now since i know it will be 2 years or more before i can turbo my truck and thats plenty of fun time before another cam swap. Justin (blackbear) said my truck runs great, but needs to move a lot more air and that cam sounds like it would be sweet.

shorties are a waste, get LTs if anything... tune is worth every penny (live or dyno being even better then mail order). but id even like to know how much the 160* stat would help?

What do yall suggest for the outling where the badges used to be? it almost looks like an outline of clearcoat... 03 tails will come eventually, meantime ill clear the tails now and smoke them. I do want the SS tailgate spoiler, looks sweet and not beaned out. Tahoe lower valance will be something ill get as well cause I like the idea of round fogs. As far as the bumper itself, Ill just see if i cant get them painted. Not tryin to make it an SS clone since after all it is the wrong body style haha. Exhaust will be redone in spring probably once I get my LT headers and will have it come out the side. I may decide to go lower but I do haul a MX bike and gear and dont want it to sag in the back when hauling. Again, many thanks for the compliments! Yall have some awesome stuff yourselves.

Personally I like my SLP intake... its got a true inclosed airbox. Fit was great for my truck.

I've been looking at both of those tires (ATRs and LTZs) and think I'm going with the LTZs. I think for me I just like an aggresive pattern whether its street or all terrain. I also like that the LTZs dont have much crap on the sidewall, gives it a cleaner look... And i like the square look of the edge lol.

hmm... think im gonna have to find this stuff... even the detailer guy at the dealership i used to work at didnt get the swirls out. guess he isnt that good?

Custom job my friend, gotta build your own or have a muffler shop do it.

Just wanna see if someone could photoshop my truck blacked out so I can get a good idea of if I will like it or not... On this one, smoked lights and black bumper... On this one, clear lenses, black mirrors, grill, grill strip, bumper.. same thing again, clear lenses, black mirror, grill, bumper, and if someone could make the molding dissapear that would be sick Thanks to whoever can do it!

thanks, yea i always forget about those bodyshop guys... lol. wonder if they could do a good job with the chrome bumpers, mirror caps and grill of mine making it nice and glossy black.

yea i hear lots of good things so i may start to ease up... think you could point me in the right direction for those nice black caps? i tried searching on ebay but i must not type the right stuff haha. i may just see if i can paint the stock chrome ones i took off.

wish i knew that... anywhere else have them? not a huge fan of ebay... the chrome ones i bought were stick on (didnt know when i bough them) and i pulled the old ones off thinking the new ones would snap in... 6 layers of double sided tape later, they ALMOST lay flush against the mirror.

One of my favorite trucks on here, clean, plain, simple yet looks awesome! That's how I want mine to look, blacked out with just a little chrome to make it stand out. But I gotta ask, where do yall get the nice black mirror caps? Are they stock chrome ones paint black or can the be bought somewhere? Also, do they snap in like the stock ones do?

Side moldings I've thought about but just not sure how those are gonna be. If they're anything like a couple of the badges I took off, I don't want a nice outline left down the side of my truck. I've been thinking about gettin the '03+ tails, not sure what I wanna do about the fronts. Rear I've already dropped 2", tough to tell cause the ground wasnt level when I took the pics. The color match idea ive been toying with since seeing all of the blacked out SSs on here and instantly loving that idea. Roll pan will be a no go just because I do haul and need the bumper from time to time to climb in the back. Yes it is. Window tint will be done sometime before winter comes around. Thought about the antenna delete too, just not sure how that will turn out, I do listen to the radio every morning (Elliot in the Morning FTW!!!). And again, i did do 2" in the rear, probably all I'll go since I still haul bikes. But the blacking out will be something I will start doing soon I think. Where can I get black mirror caps, or can I repaint the stock chrome caps to match? I recently bought some new chrome ones and they didnt line up very well untill 6 layers of double sided tape.

Haha yea they do blow some big ones thats for sure... Can I have your truck??? haha. I'm seeing too many blacked out beauties on here and is really making me wanna go that way with mine too. If it weren't for the fact that Centerline does not make a black wheel, I would easily do it.
