  1. Some people argue that McGoofy is better. I had McGoofy spindles and had nothing but trouble (used shims in the back with McGoofy hangers, etc). After replacing the McGoofy spindles with Belltech (and the hangers with the stockers and hotchkis lowering leafs), I have zero problems. This is only my experience, and others may disagree. However, I don't think too many people have trouble with Belltech spindles so maybe this helps your decision. I love those rims too!
  2. That's right, we are still the champs- I hope this resonates to Queen James
  3. 25, but gonna live until 250-280 with modern medicine
  4. I've been watching a lot of basketball lately, ncaa and nba. The only nba team I saw in person was the lakers, my gf at the time had floor tickets (I prolly should of held on to her ) so ever since I've really liked the lakers. Something about King James makes me annoyed although I still think he is super sick. Maybe he just talks to much, who knows. Who do you guys think is better- the cavs or the lakers?
  5. paypal and pm sent. Thanks again!
  6. You could check into a Clarion "Source Commander". I think this Clarion device would allow you to use the larger screen you want to put in as a back-up screen, etc, and also allow you to switch to your stereo for sound. I don't personally have one so I am not sure if I'm right about its intended purposes. But, you could give it a look online to see if it might work for you.
  7. Good point on the stretching and pulling the suede material- it is tedious but needs to be done for the suede to look right. Also, applying too much adhesive may leak through the suede. So when you do spray the suede, spray a uniform amount across the material. Don't spray spots or you may get spray on the visible side of the suede. This is just from my experience. It is not hard to do it, I am just posting my mistake so that someone doesn't repeat it.
  8. I like that the v3 unit is self-contained but I already tapped my oil pan for the S-trim. It's too bad bc that self contained unit is really a luxury. I think you're on to something with the ysi- that thing is a beast! All said and done, I wonder how much it would cost to fix that ysi to our motors??
  9. I agree with the concave/perpindicular statement above. But I also like the Boss 313 wheels even though the spokes are concave giving a lip
  10. I know I've seen posts on here about some of you who upgraded your vortech head form an s trim to an si trim. I am wondering what your thoughts are on this upgrade. How does the added efficiency of the Si trim compare to your older S-trim? How would anyone rank the Si head unit against the T-trim blower head?
  11. Rob, pm me your email address and I will readily send you some pics. My pic file sizes aere 4.58MB and we are only able to upload 1MB pics. --Jon
  12. Mr. P, I ran diamond hex for nearly 4 years without a single problem. Eventually they were stolen along with my door panels and other misc hard earned stuff. Anyways, I ran them with a JL 450.4, 2 hex 6.5 up front and some filler Alpines in back. This set up rocked- like I said until they were stolen. My replacement Alpine Type R comps up front were still good but to me were not like the diamonds, and the Alpines eventually failed for me (although many people really like these Alpines- I did for some time). The only thing I will say about the diamonds is that they are very bright, which helps when 2 12s are thumpin!
  13. $20 it is That's funny. The amp looks perfect, no scratches, and works perfect too. I pulled this out of the Z06, which I used to run a w3 stealthbox 10, and was professionally installed, etc. It is in superb shape along with the other pieces for sale.
  14. 15. Hey man, I've had Alpine Type R 6.5 components and they sound good, but I did have problems with them overtime. Components won't blow with a good signal and good eq (gains not cranked too high), but my Alpines did. I think the Polk MOMO speaks look really good and have heard great things about them. Overall, I really have been impressed with Focal. Hands down, I think they are the best. I am running Kicker SS components, which are actually really loud and pretty clean but I would like to upgrade to Focal one day!
  16. I have an arrival blue SS and had a couple of color matched paint cans mixed at the local auto paint store. I ended up paying $18 per can. It looks really good but you def want a clear also. Make sure to scuff up whatever you are painting (without leaving visible scratch marks)- this is to help the rattle can paint really stick. A light rub with scotch brite pads works well- good luck man!
  17. After looking up some more info on the step notch, I think you're def right. For the long term- it looks much better. I'm not looking to drag my frame- I'm looking to get the tires tucked under the fenders a bit. I'm not 100% on doing this now, I am just looking at all that is needed and the long-term durability of each lowering option. I hope more ideas keep coming!
  18. Hey thanks for the link and the response! He does have some sick custom fab skills
