  1. I've got first dibs on the Denali Gauges for $150 shipped if you decide to go that route!!
  2. I'ld also like a tune for my 2004 and I'm in Miami, Fl. Any tuners in Miami or Florida in general?
  3. Hi Krambo, What size are your front & rear discs? I want to upgrade from the stock silverado 12 inch front discs. Are the rear calipers the twin piston type? Do the front calipers come with brackets? How many miles were they on the Black Beauty before removal? Will they fit inside 17 inch wheels? How much shipped to 33016? Thanks, Candido
  4. Hi Supersub, If the OP is not interested and you have access to front & rear rotors, calipers and brackets that will fit a 2004 Silverado 1500 LS Crew Cab please let me know. I am in Florida.
  5. Hey Guys, Thanks for responding so quickly for me on this. I had LASIK 3 years ago and my eyes have never been the same (for the worse) so I am now paranoid since my contrast sensitivity is pretty bad. As far as the cluster difference between '05 and '06, this occurred on all Silverado's in '06 when the SHIFTER P_R_N_D_3_2_1 was changed to lights. On my new SS cluster I show the same uneven lighting, especially on the Tranny Temp needle and Oil Pressure needle which appear brighter, and the Engine Temp needle which appears dimmer. My old Black overlay cluster never had those issues. I guess this uneveness is due to the trick White-to-Black overlay. Thanks again! You guys rock !!
  6. Hi All, I just purchased a Silverado SS Cluster to replace my dead stock cluster. Everything works great, except the backlighting seems weird to me. It could be me, since I'm used to the plane Black overlay and not the White. This is especially true at dawn, when the SS Cluster is barely legible compared to the Stock Cluster. Anyways, the only way to settle my phsycotic visual issues is by seeing night time and dawn/dusk pics of your clusters, so please post away... Thanks in advance to all volunteers!
  7. Is the Fan + Shroud for a 34 inch radiator?
  8. Any 'TUNERS' down here in South Florida?
  9. 12'SROCK & chpspecial: Thanks for the advice. NTMD8R_SS: I'm sticking with stock parts, but thanks for the offer. 2 Questions: 1 - On the rear can I just swap in SS calipers without changing my rear discs? 2 - What do you all recommend for decent quality SS Braided lines? Thanks again!
  10. Ok, I concede that it's not an SS, but a 2004 Silverado CrewCab 5.3. With that said, I figure if any group of guys on any forum can help out it's the SS group. I already have 17 inch rims and would like to upgrade my 2004 front discs to the larger stock GM 2005 front discs. Do you guys know if this is a simple Caliper and Rotor swap? Has anyone else been there, done that, and if so, is there a decent improvement in brake performance? I tow a boat (7000 lbs on the scale) with working brakes on both axles and drive in heavy Miami traffic. The drivers down here cut you off and slam on the brakes. In short they drive like idiots (ok, I feel better now). In my case, 5 foot shorter stops would be great! Thanks in advance!
