will the loss of low end torque be noticeable goin to a true dual? I'm not gonna be racing this thing all the time but I don't want it to be a dog on acceleration cuz my bronco with no cats and straight pipes was SLOW

I'm trying to decide what mufflers to get for my SSS. I want to run a true dual setup dumped under the bed. I'm looking for something good and LOUD. But I don't want to lose a lot of low end torque. I just love the sound of true duals. will other mods like CAI and PCM tune help maintain that low end torque even with no balance pipe? any input is appreciated. thanks

I don't know if i'll be able to spend that much. can't say anything for sure cuz I haven't figured out if I'll be able to go or not. I really want to go to Bass Pro!

that's a nice box man. unfortunately i don't have any experience in building sub enclosures. i would like to ask how large the hole was for the CompVR 12? On the kicker website it says it needs 11 and 1/8 inches however I've notice that most boxes only come with an 11 inch hole for 12s. could i run into any problems there? I think I have that same amp btw

man that is a nice setup. I have 2 Kicker CompVR 12s that i'm putting in a downfiring box

I have 2 Kicker 12 inch CompVR subs and a kicker amp that I had in my old bronco. I'm wanting to put them in my SS but I need some help deciding on which box will work. I'm looking at this box from subthump. http://www.subthump.com/ctbultra.htm Kicker's website says the minimum sealed box should be 1 cubic foot but the box is .92 cubic feet per side. Will that damage the subs? I like the look of the Silverado written on the box but is there a place I could keep the amp out of the way? Also will it be better if I have an aftermarket headunit installed? I've never messed with these bose sytems. Thanks for the help.

Christmas came a little early this year for me as I became the proud driver of a 2005 Silverado SS yesterday. It only has 24,000 miles on it and it's RED! I have been around this site before just looking but now that I have one I'm hoping yall can point me in the right direction on which mods are the best. The first thing I'm trying to do is to put my 2 Kicker 12s under the rear seat, I have been searching for a box to fit these monsters in, I haven't decided if i want to switch the headunit or not. If i do it would be just for the ipod connection on the after market radios. The next is the most obvious.....SOME PIPES! I had flowmasters on my bronco but I want to know what would sound best on the SS. I'm going tomorow to get a RED vinyl decal put over my bowtie to match it with the rest of the body. CAI and computer tune could be possibilities. Sorry for the long post. I'm just pumped about having a badass truck!
