  1. When your pump quit did you notice any other problems, noises, higher pressures on resevoir etc?
  2. Has anyone had a magnacharger intercooler water pump fail ??? Did it cause any other problems or damage? Where is good place to buy replacement?
  3. Thanks.... One reason I am asking about this is because the previous owner had said that the pump fuse being blown was part or THE reason that the charger had to be rebuilt???
  4. Yes... 2001 C3 with Magnacharger, with intercooler & the software that came with charger assembly. Transmission has been upgraded & 2500 RPM stall convertor. Has 133K miles but has been maintained well & most miles are highway 50 miles at a time. has autometer vacum/boost gage that is reading only vacum now, I think due to a crack in rubber boot on rear of charger where boost line is attached. Also has Autometer air/fuel ratio meter, a sport-comp model, I have about determined is narrow band meter. It always shows lean, no matter the RPM or load etc. I just bought this pickup and previous owner said that this meter had always read this way. The spark plugs do not indicate that motor is running lean. I am trying to learn all I can about this setup.. The charger was rebuilt about 6 months ago. I am a service manager for a John Deere dealer & have messed with old cars most of my life but I am very ignorant of many of these newer boost & electronics etc.. Thanks for the welcome & your efforts to enlighten me..
  5. Does the water pump for the intercooler need to run all the time or just when running boost? I am using a Magnacharger on GMC C3
  6. Where is the best port to connect plumbing for boost gage on LQ9 with magnacharger? Currently is connected to back of charger close to firewall. I don't like the rubber boot it uses there..
  7. Thanks. AS you can tell I am new at this site. the GMC C3 I bought has an Autometer sport-comp meter. truck has magnacharger. I am still trying to learn what all the parts are etc. The best I can determine this meter is a narrow band meter.. and it seems worthless so far..
  8. Can anyone explain the accuracy of narrow band air/fuel meter? I have an Autometer sport comp air/fuel ratio meter & it shows lean always.
  9. Y'all forgive my ignorance, as I try to learn to navigate here
