  1. Oh ok, well then this really isn't a starter machine for ya. Once again that 4x4 thing will come down to where you are going to ride because the sport machines are worthless in mudd and if you are looking at anything utilitarian out of one obviously they aren't the way to go. Also does ride matter very much? The sport machines obviously are made for more aggressive riding so what you gain in handling you lose in comfort. I am bias, but for the sport machines I've ridden (Yamaha Raptor, Polaris Predator/Outlaw, Kawasaki VForce 700, and the Bombardier DS650) the ds650 outperforms as far as ride is concerned but it also weighs substantially more than the others; in a side-by-side race I can also pull away from all these machines when they are stock although I have run against a Raptor 700 only the 650.

My buddy has a Rancher and I've ridden it a few different times. For me it sits too low to the ground and my arms hang down to contact the handlebars - uncomfortable but I'm a pretty big guy so I would suggest sitting/perhaps riding any machine before purchasing.

To me consider looking at a Yamaha Wolverine or a Polaris Scrambler. The Wolverines are a decent machine, 350cc with some decent spunk, and full-time four-wheel drive. The Scrambler was made in 2 and 4 strokes for many years, but you said you were more interested in 4 so those come in a 500cc, with push button four-wheel drive. Also a nice ride.

Another thing to think about is what shops are near you? Around my area we don't have many options for shops - most are 100 miles away. Just another thought. Good luck!

I bag to differ on that comment sport machines are worthless in the mud I have toot my raptor 700R threw a lot of very deep mud holes and only got stuck once thanks to my buddy bogging way down in the mud hole and making it way deeper for me this mud hole was close to 200 feet long and I made it all the way but foot to the end of it. heck I have even had it up in the mountains in the snow and ran in to snowmobilers and had them ask how I got up here on that. It all on how ya throw your weight around

  2. I have an 06 raptor 700R I love it its hell a fast and have all ways had a blast with it. I am now selling it I have had no time to ride it in all most 2 years. I do start it up every once in a while and tare around the trailer park I live in to keep it running. It has no more than 25 hours on it. Never raced or been abused it was tipped over once I was putting and turning and it just kinda rolled over I am selling it for 4000 I will have the title for it in about 2 weeks I sent off for it monday

  3. I miss my old set up I had in a 2001 2 door toyota echo I had 4 10" W6 V2's with 2800 watts pushing them this got moved into my 2 door civic Si hatchback then was stolen about 5 months after it was put in the honda dam thieves got away with about 6000 bucks :M16: I now have 2 P2's and a 1200 watt amp in my SS it still ant enough. Those 2 12's are probably loud in that single cab

  4. This sucks I get my vacation pay the 1/8/10 and want to lower my SS 3/4 I might have the money then don't know yet I might have an other bill or to out there I will do some checking around and know more tomorrow night if I can afford it I would by the hole kit if I can. I should I get 2 weeks work pay and 2 weeks vacation pay the same day

  5. I have been looking for a new deck for my SS and I have decided on getting the alpine IVA-W505. It is a double den dvd touch screen and all. I am choosing this deck because of what I have planed when my SS is payed off. I will be doing a alpine 6 disk CD/DVD changer and 2 7" alpine monitors in the head rests that set up will allow one person to watch a dvd on on TV and on the other play a video game system. OK now I have been looking on line for over 4 hours and can not find a sight that sells this deck any cheeper than $770.00. is this a good price or can it be found cheeper.

  6. I live just north of boston and we only got about 8" and thank god its nice fluffy snow...

I was out early this morning having a little fun in the snow .i run snow tires in the winter and the thing goes like crazy even stops great....

I live in north Idaho and I run the same tires all year round just throw 4 75 pound sand bags in the back never have a problem going or stopping

  7. where did u get ur info?? not true at all.. there are a few things u can do. first u will lose the bose amp and factory sub.

    u can either

    1. by an interface to control ur speakers and sub

    2. bypass the amp by disconnecting the harness under the cup holder and run tap into the wires going out to the speakers

    3. run individual speaker wire to ur speakers but lose steering wheel controls, etc..

imo i would buy an interface or number 3. actually i would ditch the bose all together and get a good set of components up front and some good 4x6 in the back and put them on an amp.

Thanks. I was told that you couldn't from a local stereo shop who also screwed up an amp of mind I am actually planing on replacing the bose with focal Im gona do 4- 6.5" 3 way up front and a 4" with a tweeter in the back doors it will be about 1500 for all so have to wait for now. Now if I use an interface or number 3 will I have to use another amp because the alpine has no amp

  8. Just get an aftermarket h/u instead of buying another stocker from the dealer. Is it the radio itself that was constantly drawing power and shorting out or another wire shorting out?

now I was told u cant hook an aftermarket deck up to the bose factory speakers is this true I have a alpine and an eclipse tape with a 12 pack cd player lying around now the alpine dose not have a built in amp and the eclipse does

  9. I like doing that a lot you can feel it kick down twice but it shifts again real quick in my town there's a hill that I cost down at about 25 then barry it and it feels like the front wants to lift off the ground. One problem I have with stomping on it hard from a low speed is that when it shifts you can hear the belt squeal.

  10. Heres mind

There are 20 2005 SIL 1500 EXT CAB STD BOX vehicles (0.003%) matching your exact options list. There are 72 (0.010%) with at least as many options.

The rarity of your vehicle is based on an exact match of your options for your year and model.
