GUys what are some cheap engine mods for the SS

ive been asked multiple time that has the 454 right?. Then yesterday a kid goes, "me and my buddy are fighting about this, does it come stock with a supercharger right? im like um no buddy, then he goes o yea its a 4 cylinder though right. I go in my truck reved it up and pulled away

Guys ive been trying to figure this out for the longest time. I want to install a screen, like the pick below in my truck. I just want a screen that will play dvds and cds. Can anyone help me on getting the dash piece like this?

do you still know who was selling them?

guys I want to put a screen in where the lighter/ power outlet, and holders are. Is there any suggestions to help me out getting this done?

where do u get a custom tune.

I want to get one of those center console pieces that hold the large screen. This is the piece where the power outlet and cigarette lighter are located. I want to know if I can buy this piece or if it needs to be custom made. I also am wondering where I can get the screen to put in.

Can everybody post pictures of their custom wheels? I am trying to find the ones that look just right.

hey guys, I was just wondering if there is any good suggestions for rims to go on an 05 black ss. I want to go 22 or 24. Will these sizes affect the ride and performance? Thanks, Mike

Yea I agree with you there, I tried it myself this afternoon to get the top of the dash off and it seems nearly impossible, and thats the only way to get at it. Im just gonna have to bring it back to the guy. I was able to stick my finger in the hole and the like ball wasent attached to the cord just a plug so it seems to be that it became unpluged, that must be the reason why it was constantly turning the lights on.

do you know if there is a plug that goes into the sensor cause I was looking around the dash and I saw something in that area that was unpluged, also I couldent get the top dash piece off to get to it do you have any suggestion on how to get it off.

I don't believe its covered I had a nav system put in when the prob started maybe that had something to do with it what would be the wire that would affect the lights. I don't want to disable the auto headlights I just want running lights on during the day and headlights at night

My running lights aren't coming on during they day, everytime I start my ss the headlights come on during the day. The headlights are set to auto but always turn on the headlights whenever the truck starts, Anyone have an idea to fix this Thanks Mike

Hey gus, I want to install a 6 disk changer into my 05 ss. I know I need the harness but as far as install do I just need to plug it in to the radio and what kind of bracket could I use to hold it in place. I'm planning on cutting out the large pocket in the console to fit the changer. Any advise helps Thanks, mike

I just got the cup holder and dash bezel from a yukon denali. I want to put them into my 2005 silverado ss. Anybody have an Idea how I can do this?? Thanks, Mike

Hey guys I was just wondering if anybody knows how to remove the orange reflectors out of the corner of the headlights, without damaging the casing. I saw this before in a truckin magazine but forgot how to do it. Thanks, Mike
