I have the ceramic coated pacesetters and I'm pleased with them. The truck sounds so mean with no cats and the magnaflow muffler. Good luck man

I Are you planning on selling the lowering kit. I have been looking for one for my 03 ss. Hate that your selling the truck man.
-
Just wanted to thank you all for the advice. I think I am keeping the truck until I get out of professional school and then buy me a corvette or a 1969 camaro. These trucks are to hard to just give up. I love my truck to much

What do you guys think I should do? I recently bought a 2003 ford Mach 1 mustang because I was planning on selling my truck to get something that got better gas mileage. I know it's a ford and i like the car since it is fast as hell, but do y'all think I should stick with the Mach 1 or the SS. The Mach gets 18-26mpg and the SS gets 13-19 mpg. Hope everyone can give me some good advice.

Thanks for the help man. I would say its in good condition and run well. I have babied it since the day I got it. It does have some scratches and a minor tear on the drivers seat.

You mean 20,000 right? Sounds good to me? haha

I have a 2003 Silverado SS with 149xxx miles on it. It has CAI, custom tune, headers with cat delete, dual exhaust with magnaflow DI/DO and corvette servo. It is all black with the stock rims powder coated black to match. Tires are fairly new also. What do yall think would be a reasonable asking price for the truck? Thank you

i heard that if you gut them it will make a raspy sound unlike just a straight pipe.

Does anyone know where i can find a fake cat or cheap high flow cat to go with my lt pacesetters so i can pass inspection? I really want a straight through design.

Any more ideas guys?

I dont know if this sounds stupid or if anyone has done this. But what is i were to get the ceramic coated headers and then put a coat of high temp paint on them to help it last longer. Would that work or is this a total noob question?

Im in Northern part of Louisiana. Do you think the ceramic coated pacesetters will be fine here?
-
will i have any clearence issues like with the driveshaft on a 2003 awd ss with the pacesetters?
-
I am about to purchase some lt headers and i was wondering which ones to go with? Should i get the pacesetters with ceramic coating and no cats or the OBX set up with their high flow cats. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. ALSO Will i have any clearance issues with these i have a 2003 awd sss.

My plans for the truck are to make it run low 14s or high 13s. Im also in the process of getting pacesetter headers with no cats and a custom tune. I use the truck as a daily driver(in town and on interstate). After those plans im kinda of lost on the next performance upgrade.
-
Thanks for the quick reply and info. I know this question has also been asked a lot before but what would the next best upgrade if i have electric fans, CAI, headers no cats with magnaflow, and a custom tune? I also have 136000 miles on the truck and i heard that messing with the tranny would not be a good idea.

Hey guys im a Newbie to the posting. Ive tried searching some results of what type of cam to get but didnt have much luck. I was wondering if there is a cam i can get for a stock engine and transmission without having to replace anything or would a cam even be worth it just for horsepower? Any info will be greatly appreciated

My truck has over 136000 miles on it now. Should i get the transgo shift kit or not with this many miles?
