to answer both questions...I'm not sure if it will work with nav radios. I would assume they would since it just ties into the speaker wires and nothing else. Dads truck sounded good. I set up a 4 channel powering alpine speakers. Also had his Ipod hooked up and that's when u could tell the difference. Any digital media/cds sounded awesome...just like an aftermarket HU. He hardly used the truck and my mom was the one usually driving so the volume was low...so theres no real abuse. anything else just send me a PM
