YA JUST TO PUT RANDOM STUFF IN THE BED, I DON'T WANNA TURBO BECAUSE OF ALL THE DUCT WORK I WOULD HAVE TO DO. WHO MAKES A GOOD SUPERCHARGER FOR THIS MOTOR... DO THEY ALL FIT A 4.8?

Ok so i got a 2003 silvy, now all my friends got mustangs and camaros and what not, i wanna keep up with them but i need a truck. so i was thinking supercharge what i got. now is it worth it? my truck has low miles and is under the factory extended warrenty still. If im gonna do this i wanna do it right, because i'm sure ill do more mods in the future. i've already done borla exhaust and k+n intake. Now i know im gonna need new gears, and to have it reprogrammed, is it as simple as bolt on or do i need to have it tuned? do i need a new tranny? is it gonna catch fire doin long distance driving? how much maintenence does it need? o yea and cost? i'm pretty handy myself (i did a tranny swap in an s-10) is it something i can handle? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated

OK so I have an 03 silverado regular cab, and my brother has an 03 silverado SS. some kids did some serious damage to his truck, and he gave me his grill and bumper cover. I haven't been able to find a thread where it shows how to put this on. I have the chrome bumper and fog lights on my truck. I put the grill on. My other problem is that i need the two silver vents where the fog lights would go on a SS. Are the factory SS bumper covers repaintable? any links, part numbers, pics, or tips would be appreciated. heres a pic of the front of my truck with his grill. comments would be nice.
