    will this tranny bolt right up or would i need to chsnge the beel housing

    one other question what kind of re wirring are u talking about and how ard or how much u think ill be spending in doing this... i just dont wanna get the tranny and end up paying more to make it work than what i actually paid for the tranny

  2. Yes, sure is. It's not a nitrous specific cam, but many have used nitrous with this cam and had good results. Nitrous seems to work very well no matter what cam you are running. :jester: For a regular use of spray I'd pick a different cam, but this one would be just fine for the occasional spray.

    Well from ur knowledge what cam do u recommend becuz i will be using nitrous as my power adder

  3. I've ported a few of them years ago when they were new to being swapped. There is some guy now doing them for the TBSS guys. I believe he cuts them in half, ports them, and then plastic welds them back together. Supposed to be some pretty good results.

  4. Really depends on your modifications, the type of dyno and the competency/thoroughness of the tuner.
    Well I don't think I have much mods I originally had a 4.8 and I did a 6.0 swap and haven't reflashed the pcm yet. I have headers did a tbss manifold and throttle body swap CAI and just waiting on my 100 wet shoot kit. What kind of tume do u think I would benefit more from
  5. A wide-open-throttle switch is attached to the gas pedal so that the nitrous system only activates when you have your foot all the way on the floor, not only for safety but also to assure that the motor is fueled correctly.

     

    A window switch is an electronic box that watches the ignition system and lets you program the beginning and ending RPM that the system will fire (the nirous is allowed to run in a 'window' of RPM). If you activate the nitrous at too low of an RPM you risk blowing the crankshaft right out the bottom of the engine (due to detonation), and if you do not cut the nitrous it can quickly overrev the engine faster than you can react and let off the gas pedal.

     

    If you have both a window and WOT switch you can just stomp on the gas and pop the clutch, and when the motor passes 3000-RPM the nitrous will come on until it'

     

    With computer-controlled engines (like our LS-engines) it is common to buy a combination window/WOT switch that will do both functions, these are known as digital window switches and the benefit is that you only have one electronic box to install and you don't have to rig something on the gas pedal or throttle cable. More sophisticated (expensive) window switches will also let you specify different RPM ranges per gear, fire multiple systems, and even operate the solenoids 'progressively'.

     

    Minimum, you need a GOOD window/WOT switch to manage the motor on nitrous.

    is there any way this more sophisticated window stich can only activate on the gears i want to do to the fact that my first gear is way to short and to spray out the whole i wouldnt want to break anything

    and whats the difference between a windown switch and a wot stich im kind new to this so i want to learn ass much as i can before i put it on thanks

  8. We use & sell Nitrous Outlet exclusively, they've got the best stuff. I highly recommend using a digital window switch, program it to activate the nitrous at 2900-3000 RPM. They should now have out their "all in one" nitrous control gauge, it has a window switch, bottle pressure, & gauge all in a single 2-1/8" pod, it's very nice. The plate kits are the most expensive but WELL worth it, their performance is better versus a single-nozzle kit.

    so in ur opinion how much am i looking on spending for 100 wet shoot kit and would the window stiwch make a diff. if my truck is a 5 speed

  9. Ok so wet shot it thanks guys.I been looking at nitrous outlets and well they have a wet shot kit for around 400 bucks. What else would I need to make it work or should I say wats the best way so that noz could be activated I'm kind new when it comes to nitrous I'm planning to get my truck tunned by weathley I just wanna get my kit before the tune so the tune could be worth it
