  1. Nope, all stock. The chime happens a lot without the light coming on most of the time but I also get the ABS working when I come up to a stop sign on normal dry pavement. It just seems like a quirk that these trucks have and thought someone out there has come across this with a solution.
  2. Bought them through Napa. Had the correct part #s. I'll check though thanks.
  3. Anyone having their ABS light and chiming on a regular basis after replacing front hubs? Do you think it's a compatibilty issue or program issue?
  4. Regulator. Had same problem. You can check by pulling vaccum hose off reg and seeing if fuel residue is present or if gas gushes out at all. If it does, then it's your problem. Easy fix and very common.
  5. I've had that problem with my intermediate shaft. It will make clunking while going straight...or at least it did on my truck. Simple fix that the dealer would charge a lot for. Un-bolt shaft either at sector or in the middle and slide it towards the steering wheel. It will push the heavy grease back up that has slid down due to vibration and gravity and you'll be good for another 20,000 or so.
  6. I just replaced both front hubs on my 03 SS. 74000 miles and they were making noise for some time. I'm still getting slow speed growl when turning going forward or reverse. Not bad but still noticable. CV shafts are both good. Any ideas?
