  8. ill try to get some pics of the interior posted up.Tring to come up with a paint sceme that wont take away the looks of the ss, as soon as i get these other two clients cars done im gonna roll it into the booth and work the magic to it. i know it will stay red but thinking of black racing stripes with alot of artwork hidden in them so that you wont see them until you get up on it,wouldnt do the artwork but i need to that way i can promote my artwork to other clients to see. wouldnt look right to be a custom painter and not have a custom vehicle to show your work lol. i had a 04 standard cab sierra that was black with tru fire paint it was a pretty sick truck but ill try to post some pics of it couse i sold it to buy this ss ive only had this truck about a month and a half,so far im well pleased the the ss .

  13. ss wolfpac i actually bought that truck and that is a street scene rollpan,it fits the ss truck like shit,im actually gonna put a baesr rollpan on soon. And if you do decide to get it you cannot run the exhaust out the rear vents couse the leaf shackles are right there in the way,i cut them out before looking to run my exhaust out of them, and saw the shackles there in the way and was like wtf,lol anyway hope i helped you out on this.
  14. yea i haft to admit thats is a bad sss. Those guys that are into bagn their rides always try to stand out from the rest of them,im mean like us with the lifestle we want to live by with our sss and we see one motered up ,running its ass off down the track we appriciate it.Those guys get a regular chevy, bag it up then body it down they think cool but one gets a sss ,or a danali truck or even an escalade, something that only the rest of them dream about doing it to appriciate the guy that does it.So i can appriciate the truck in its own way, just like i appriciate certain ricers and even lowriders or donks, they all got thier lifstyle of thier own and some of them set thier own standards. Not trying to start nothing just voicing my opinion.
  15. no problem bro, actually thats what motivated me to become a painter, doing my own work through trial and era becouse i was to cheap lol,and not comfortable with anyone else doing it for me.Started off when i was younger being a clean up boy and picking up the trade, good luck with your paintjob, all it takes is patience.Just remember ,if it dont look good then all you got to do is redo it lol
  16. First start buy washing the whole truck ,then do your normal sanding but when you get it ready to paint it needs to be sanded with nothing courser than 500 grit then get a grey scotch brite pad and put a lot of dishwashing soap in it and use water then scub the panels you are going to spray down real good, let it dry then preclean the same panels with a waterbased precleaner. Then tape off the truck wet your booth down then preclean again, make sure when you preclean to wipe on then wipe it back off before the preclean dries, but wipe it dry.you can never do wrong by precleaning it to much lol. Then tack it off real good then you need to seal what you primed before you spray on base. Now what im gonna say next some peaple will probaly disagree but ive been painting for about 18 years and it works for me (i learned the old school way lol)but between every coat of base be sure to let it dry once it dries wet sand it with 1500 grit on everycoat except the last one .Then after your last coat let it dry up good rewet your floor again ,if a little water splashes on your panels its ok as long as it was dried real good before you started wetting your floor just be sure to get a rag and gently wipe it off. Then tack off the base real good use a blower to help ,on your air hose to help blow off any trash nibs,oh yeah rewind a little bit be sure that when your wetsanding between your coats of base to wipe it dry i use the blue shop towel and tack it off before you spray you next coat of base. Now that you got it all based check it over real good tacking it ,looking to make sure you got everything covered in base that you want and spray on the glass lol my word for clear. Once your clear has dried your ready to cutt and buff this is what will make or break the looks of your paintjob,be sure to mask up everything on your truck that you dont want compound on.Once you got your baby covered up get you a roll of tape and tape off all the edges that way you wont cut threw them.Dependind on how good you clear laye d out will either make your next step harder or easier lol,but start with 1000 grit paper and water sand it making sure you get all the trash nibs and orange peel off then step up to 1200 then 1500 then start buffing. Thats one way this step is also an option if your up to the challenge, after your clear has dried you can dry sand or wet i prefer dry myself so i can see when i get my clear flat easier with 600 to 800 you can do this while its still taped up ,be sure not to sand threw your clear, then rewet your floor ,preclean with a waterbase preclean ,check all your paper to make sure you didnt pull none up then reclear clear it with about 2 to 3 coats of clear, reduce your clear about 10% more than normal so it will flow out better,be carefull becouse it will run alot easier becouse of the slick surface and becouse you clear is a little thinner than before,i only recommend this step if you got some experience. Then your ready to cut and buff after it cures if it needs it but if you do this step right and you dont get any trash in it it will be slick a h@!#. Im sure i might have missed something or i do it a little different than someone else but i hope i gave you a few pointers to help you out bro,not trying to brag but ive done my fair share of custom paint jobs a lot of best paint awards and specialize in custom artwork so if any off you guys need any help just give me a shout and ill try to help as much as i can,i dont clame to know it all and never will. Now your ready to stunt all the hard work you done but itll be worth it when someone ask who painted it and you can say you did good luck!!!
