  1. Keep me posted... i'd love to make the next one and meet some of you guys... I haven't made any mods to my truck yet other than tint but would like to start soon. I'll be in KC in a couple of weeks though... My boy is up there at his grandma's for the summer so if anyone would like to get together in SKC / Lee's Summit area sometime in the not too distant future, hit me up.

  2. Riddle me this... Why is society willing to listen to liberal viewpoints but not conservative? While I don't necessarily agree with everything in the "joke" that was posted, I'm alarmed at how many people are up in arms...??? If it were a liberal viewpoint bashing conservativism everyone would be applauding... Americans need to smell the coffee and read the writing on the wall. Not only are our futures and livelihoods are at stake and under attack, but more importantly those of our children and grandchildren... Just my .02 cents.

  3. more pics if anyone has them please!!!!

We just bought a 69 chevy long bed and 70 4x4 long bed for my son. We're going to be transferring the majority of the body from the 69 to the 70 and vice versa and will probably wind up selling the 69 pretty cheap.

  4. I would absolutely love to have this... I wish I were closer... I have some friends from up there coming over tomorrow night... I will check with them and see how far of a drive it is and if they have any plans of coming your way anytime soon.

  5. Your post is vague; but if you are describing a 1" perforated grille just above and left of the driver's head that is the in-cab temperature sensor, it has a tiny electric fan to breath in and measure the temp inside the truck so the climate controls can automatically regulate things. I am guessing but I can see how unplugging that sensor would cause the behavior you describe as the computer has no idea what the temp in the cab is.

edit - the Onstar microphone is the small black bulge added to the driver's side of the center console; the Onstar module plays back through the front door speakers.

Yes that was what I was referring to and thanks for your response... Now I can take it and hopefully get it repaired.

    Thanks,

  6. I thought this was an onstar speaker as well and it's been buzzing for 3 years... I had the service dept. disconnect it when I took it in for service... I guess now I may have the answer to my AC issues... Can anyone tell me if this would cause my AC to either blow ALL cold if set on 89 or below and only blow hot when it's on 90?

    Thanks,

    JDA
