My cousin and I are starting a project on his 01' Silverado 400SS (5.7L) in the next few days. He wants to add HIDs so I told him I would hook him up, I have an extra set laying around but the bulbs are the wrong size. I know that I can get them on ebay but was wondering if there was a site or a specific vendor you guys use/recommend? Looking to get 6000K 9006s, so let me know before we end up gettin some cheapies on ebay and they burn out days later...LOL!

Haha! Same hear. I'm afraid of what may happen at night if I do, and having to wear glasses does not help either.
How much did the tint set you back by the way?

Thats good lighting for a night pic, and the color of the wheels contrasts the paint in a trippy way.

When I had my 04 I used to park away from all the other cars to avoid stuff like that, boy was that a bad move. The last time I did that it got stolen! On a Sunday afternoon and nobody saw anything because I parked too far away! Now its just easier to risk it and park with all the others, figure I've got better chances.

I agree on the chrome to red look but, the trim around the grill is not enough to set it off (i.e. the rest of the truck has no chrome).

Chrome to red is a good idea ! it was actually suppose to be black but they sent the wrong one. The factory grill and two fo the headlights got smashed by a bird and i think this updates the look of the truck

Color match the chrome to your red and you might be on to something.

I like it, but feel bad for traffic on your right when you floor it!

I think there should be a limit, for example 100 posts, before a member is able to list an item they have for sale.
I have noticed a huge amount of newbies with 1-5 posts posting up for sale items. I just feel that it would cut down on potential scams, etc. Personally, I will not consider items like that to purchase.
Dont know if this has been suggested before...Just a thought..
Agreed as well. Joining with your only intention or interest to sell something.......... not cool.
Not that I'm saying that is every newbie's intention, it just seems to be the case lately.
