  1. I'm 99% sure you cant use '02 down stuff(other than the long block) on an '03 up truck. You would need the harness and computer out of an 03/04 V8 truck. With the '03 v6 being dbc and the '02 being dbc, and an 03/04 v8 being dbw, I'm not sure what would be the best to use for the ecm? Maybe a '03 van one(dbc w/v8)? I think the simplest would just be to convert it completely to DBW, but thats just me.

That is correct. You can not use the 99-02 engine electronics in stock forum with an 03-07 classic cab regardless of the DBC or DBW.

He will either need to find the pin outs from an 03 and rewire the harness as the wiring for the AC is different as well as a few other items. Or you can get and 03 up harness and convert it to DBC. Last choice would be a engine Van Harness as it is already DBC it will just be long where it feeds to the fuse box. He will also need an 03-07 classic PCM with drivers for DBC. I would recommend a PCM from an express van.

  2. The question is how much are you looking to spend? Lol. I have a truck with a whole bunch of nice parts that I would sell. 2006 clone with all wheel drive, Ls6 supercharged motor, front and rear big brake kit and all oem SS parts and some billet intro wheels. Shoot me a pm if you are interested bc I am getting a hinkering for a 69 Camaro again.

    Got any pictures?

  3. I think it's gonna cost more then 20 to send. Shipping seems to have gotten a lot more expensive keep in mind anymore ups, FedEx and even USPS now also charge for dimensional space so if you have a big light box you will pay more.... Just saying.

    I think you are correct.

Most of the Boxes I have found are square, There for taking up more space. I think it's going to be in the $30-$40 range for those interested. Obviously if there is more than 1 piece it can go in the same box.

  4. I've got the bolts. I do have a buddy digging through his pile to see if he still has one, but i should know in the next day or two if you could hold it for me.

Don't worry, It won't go any where. I won't be able to get back over to my storage until this weekend any way.

  5. How much shipped to 33463, for two of the new raw unpainted cladding parts. The right and the left end of the bed

    It's official gm stuff right?

    Of course!

They were purchased to make a complete set. Unfortunately for my friend Someone flung the passenger door open on a hot day and it caught the door moulding. He said F it He is done with it and wants to sell it. He asked me to sale it for him as he does not get on any Forums. It's taking up space in my storage and I would like to see it go to a good home.

I Would have to look into shipping this week.

  7. I'm guessing it went in the iron bin when the P/o installed the chickensh*t dual exhaust. Any chance you'd part with that one?

I could, I would need to look and see if i have the 2 bolts that hold it to the transmission.

I will need to find a box that will hold it too.

How's $50 Shipped to your Door sound?

  8. That's crazy I have a 2006 ISS 2WD and have never seen that mount, lol. I guess the first owner removed it.

Are you sure it's not there? If the Trans was ever removed or replaced it's possible they did not reinstall it.

They are right in the way and a pain in the ass for removing transmission.

  9. Here is the GM performance crate engine site http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines.html

That only Shows current production engines. It will require additional components to make it work in his vehicle.

19301554 Is the New/ Reman LQ9 long block. It shows online pricing as follows.

    Your Price $ 4068.94 + Core Charge $ 2500.00

Not sure if any valves or pistons broke but, if they did, you will also want to replace the intake manifold as well. Some pieces can lodge in there that you can not remove but will com put later while the engine is running and destroy a new motor.

I would circumvent the $2500 core charge by finding an LQ4 long block for the exchange. They wouldn't even know the difference and I usually see long blocks for $600-$1000 as a long block. They must be assembled when exchanging them for core credit.

I know LKQ also offers Remanufactured units through Various builder's like Jasper. You might price shop those as well.
