  1. I have an 03 SSS that had been running fine until a couple months ago when the trans went. I finally got around to having it rebuilt and put it back in last weekend with a 2800 stall torque convertor and since then it does not want to idle well and whenever I slow down driving to around like 1000 rpms driving the truck wants to die unless I hold the brake and give it gas to keep it running. The only thing I changed since it was running fine before(couple months ago) was the trans, so I would assume the problem would be there. However I tried shifting into neutral and into first gear manually when slowing down and there was no difference. I checked the battery and the voltage was fine. It is now starting hard every couple starts...It is turning over fast, it just takes a couple seconds to fire up so I'm thinking maybe a fueling issue...? Or maybe something happened from sitting outside for so long in the cold? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Mods include Radix112 with a 3.0 pulley, dual exhaust, 160 tstat and a k/n intake.
  2. Alright thats good news then, less money to spend right away....thanks for the help.
  3. The only other performance mods are a dual exhaust, K/N filter and 160 T-Stat...but I have been considering headers as well.
  4. Yea, I have basically everything that comes with the Radix kit on the truck now(in-line pump and 42# injectors). Didn't know if I needed anything else to support the kind of boost a 2.8 pulley would make. I thought I saw a thread on here that said they run too lean with the stock Radix components.
  5. Just wondering what type of fueling upgrades I would need to support a 2.8 pulley on my Radix 112 for my 03 SSS(Injectors, Pump, etc) without having it run too lean? I am in the process of getting my transmission done, so I'm not worried about that. Thanks
  6. Yes I have a wheatley tuned pcm for it....thanks for the help I'll get one ordered
  7. We were able to get everything installed ok, however it now runs terrible and wont stay running for more than a few seconds...any suggestions? Is the IAT harness that is mentioned near the end(step 180ish) a must have part? I got the kit used and it didnt come with one so there isn't one on the truck now...could this cause it to run poorly?
  8. Im planning on finally getting the Radix kit I have on my 03 SSS this weekend and just wanted to double check the directions Magnacharger has listed online....In step 3 it says for 2003 trucks to skip the section and move on to step 40, but that doesn't seem right because step 40 is in the middle of taking off the intake and skips a few other things along the way...Is this really the case?? Anything else I should pay attention to in the directions? Thanks
  9. Thanks a lot, this should make things easier...I'll check Magnachargers site and try and get ahold of them to get all the parts that I can't get locally.
  10. Where would I get the intercooler hoses from? I'll check for the gasket..and I assume I can get a relay directly from magnacharger..? Also the intercooler is there, but not pictured. Thanks
  11. I bought a Radix 112 kit from someone on ebay but they don't seem to respond to any questions I ask them so I am just wondering if someone who has done this kit can verify I have all the needed parts before I get half way through the install. The is going on my 03 SSS and I think he said it was previously installed on a 04 SSS if that matters...Do all the years require an upgraded fuel pump?? Doesn't look like I have one...Thanks
