Thanks for all your comments guys, we were going to the track this past wednesday, but is got canceled, as we were both buzy. Since i have time now, and getting some parts cheap. I will be intalling the h-pipe, headers and most likely the "10 minute tune. For a chevy forum, you guys are a COOL BUNCH! I never would have thought i would get so many honest answers here, But i did....Thanks guys. As soon as this thing happens hopfully at the track, I will be sure to post up some vids of the race. And me putting a chevy sticker on my car, or the guy pissing on the chevy symbol on his window. Should be a blast either way...

ss454327 I would like to think I am a enthusiast. I enjoy almost all sports cars, I look at it this way. If there was no ford, there would be no chevy and vise versa. I love corvettes, camaros, and the new challangers. The cats should be gone soon, so that aint a problem. The clutch aint slipping. Injectors....probly?

Mr.P Thanks. I offered to go from a roll, he always changes the subject and wont even answer me. he is to cocky because he only races light to light and says he never lost to a ford. This is the bet we have. he a the guy pissing on ford sticker on the back of his truck since new, I win, I get to take off the sticker, he wins i put a chevy sticker on my wondow....lol

McMahan You did not sound like one at all dude. I'm not goona take the spot, I want a fair race. it is a hendheld tune. while the viper is a nice piece of american muscle, I would sooner buy a vette.

McMahan I'm totally stomped on this one, As far as chevys they are nice and great cars, But you guys are gonna laugh, I never like the way the camaro sounded. I always hated the Ypipe it felt fake to me in a muscle car. Im not knocking camaros, I love all things with power. CrAzYMoPaRGuY: Thanks LOL Jond983 Decent shifter, That reminds me, i have to take the short throw outta my 92, the one in the snake is way to long. As far as knowing how to drive, I had a 99 cobra. I raced a few ls1's, I won 2 lost 1. I also raced a 2001 vette. (only lost by 2 cars) my cobra had 4.56 gears and exhaust and dynoed 299hp-300tq. These SS trucks are beautifull, IMO OVERPRICED for a truck. I will post the results as soon as this happens.

CrAzYMoPaRGuY I wanted to go even, he dont want to. My driving skills are average. I have had my cobra for a total of 2 weeks. I have a 92 5.0. but it is being redone and i have not drove it for over 2 years. As far as knowing what im doing, so, so. I got my cobra 2 weeks ago and was ment to restore and slowly mod over time. My buddy wants this so bad it aint even funny. What's killing me is that he wants to spot me so many cars, But i'll take them.

My car was owned by a 68 year old man, (Original Owner) it was not broken in correctly, It should be a good race either way. I was just curious on what you guys think might happen.

Jameszss Yes, I came in here to ask to see with your opinion is. And he said 3 and beat me by 1. so 4 cars..... See, here is the thing. My car is BONE STOCK down to the filter, He told me he would give me 7 cars as i sit now, 4 if i put a H-pipe. I told him lets go from a roll, He changes the subject everytime i bring that up. Ohh, this aint a street race. this a 1/4 mile run. I also told him let me put a tune my car, he said NO! Im pretty sure, when he takes me out of the hole, I can catch him at the top of 2nd. Im not bumping up my timing either. He is just so sure of him self because he beats rice and people that cant drive. Either way, it will be on video and i will post if you want.

My buddy has a ss awd pickup, I just bought a 93 cobra and his mouth is watering to race me. He is giving me 3 cars and he will beat me by 1 he says. he has no cats, K & N Filter, Chip. what do you guys think? My car is stock.. nice site by the way!
