The mod bug bit me last night so I ordered a Cam, Springs, and Pushrods for my 69' C-10 with a 5.3L! I got what zippy recommed for my setup that being, Comp Cams 265LrHR12 215/223 .604/.610 112LSA cam and 918 spring good for .625 lift. I found some 7.400 chrome-moly hardened pushrods for a good deal to so I got those. Next I'll get a tune for it from zippy!

Looks good, I like the regular cabs without tonneau covers and extended cab's with tonneau covers.

Also how do I tell if the ss has the lq4 or lq9?
All SS's had the 6.0L LQ9, if you look in the glovebox theres a sticker with all the option codes on the truck you should be able to find "LQ9" on the list.

I've seen your buildup over on 67-72. Beautiful truck you have there!
Thanks!
Looks like a great find on the SS with that low of mileage! I don't think the moonroof was an option in 2003, I think the first year you could get that was 2005.

my goal is to be a pilot for the army one day want to fly the apache I have flown in just about every military air craft we have its fun and I love it
Cool! I got to fly in a Blackhawk last year, that was pretty fun.
My father and grandfather flew, but the most I have done is traveled in them or jumped out of themIt always interested me, but it's just too expensive and I don't have the time. Maybe one day though.
Congrats on the first solo flight man
Do you have your own plane? My father had a little Cessna and a twin engine Beachcomber
Thanks, no I don't have my own plane just renting a Cessna 172 so far, maybe one day I'll have the $$$ to buy one as long as the SS doesn't eat it first.
Whatever happened to Falcon Pilot?I looked up his username and he hasn't been on this site since 2006 from what I could tell.....

Just did my first solo flight on Wednesday! So far I've got 9 hours total since I started taking lessons earlier this month. It's fun and exciting every time, I've just got to work on my radio calls to the tower lol. Any of you guys pilots or do any flying?
Ss Was Almost Totalled :(

That sucks, but at least no one was hurt and it didn't get totaled!
