  1. Sounds Like Low Power Steering Fluid

    yesterday i noticed my steering was a little tighter than usual but no buzzing sound. later that night i heard the sound like i was low so i checked it and was a little low, i filled it to the right level. now whenever i am driving the steering is a little stiffer than it was, but not much and no buzzing. when i am at a dead stop it is very hard to turn the wheels in either direction and i have a pretty loud buzz...so i guessed it was the pump but i asked my nieghbor who is a mechanic and he said that his silverado did the same thing..... i have an 04 with very low miles and was wondering if there is a recall or if this is common. if anyone knows anything that would be great

    thanks my truck is an 04 2wd its not an ss.....the reason i wanted to raise the front end is because im a carpenter and i just dont wanna be too low because i do use the bed for lumber and stuff...my neighbor did say something about the torsion bars so i will talk to him about it thank u for all the suggestions if u have anymore input i would greatly appreciate it thanks guys

    i want to level out my truck and dont want to lower the rear end my nieghbor told me about some type of spacer that i believe he said just fits between my springs is this a good wayto go if i dont wanna spend a lot of money on it.

    does anyone know about this is it a good idea or a bad one
