I just got a 2002 Silverado and the transmission is bad. It just goes into low gear and I think was run out of fluid. The owner says he stuck it in reverse while driving down the road and had it worked on but it then leaked. Anyway... I think I need to replace the transmission and not have it rebuilt. The RPO code in the glovebox says M30. Someone on the net said it is a 4L65E. The code indicates it is 4L60E.
