I'm curious about the AutoZone discs and pads as well. I have a $150 gift card to AutoZone so I would rather buy my brakes there. Has anyone ever tried these? thanks 2001silverado, now I just need find the free time to actually replace the part.

The check engine light came on so I had it scanned at autozone and they told me I was throwing 2 codes, P0442 and P0449. It looks like it could be either the purge solenoid or the vent solenoid. How can I tell which one needs to be replaced? Also is the purge soleniod the one on top of the engine and is the vent soleniod the one next to the gas tank?

Not sure what type your looking for but I have a set of american racing headers for the 5.3L. They are 1-3/4" with a y-pipe and high flow cats. Never installed I am still debating if I want to install them or not. I will let them go for $1,400 plus shipping.

I drove my truck last night with the a/c on and parked it around 11pm. I go out to my truck around 2pm today and the a/c evaporator drain tube is dripping water. Has anyone ever had this happen? The evaporator was dripping 15 hours after I drove it. What could cause this?

How does the pioneer navigation compare to garmin and tomtom?

Alpines are nice but way out of my budget. I was just using crutchfield for information and pictures. I already found both these units for much cheaper.

I am having a hard time deciding between these units. How good is the navigation in the Pioneer units. Does any one know of a dry filter that fits in the volant? I was looking at the AEM filters but cant figure out which one fits.

The only reason I was not considering ARH is because when I looked the ARH's were $200 more. I just found a website that has them for the same price I could get the SW's and kooks. I think I will go with the ARH's. Thanks for the input everybody!

I have the 5.3 so I think the 1 7/8 headers will be to much.

I need help choosing headers. I am looking at either Kooks or Stainless Works. I can get them for the same price so it all comes down to which header fits the best and is better quality. Which one would you buy?

Mine is not a ss. I wish it was but it was not in the budget. I am looking more for performance as I have 20's and I will sometimes be towing with it. I did not want to spend to much so the $1000 and up big brake kits are out.

I have a 06 silverado lt with the drum brakes in the back. I was looking at the power slot 14" front brakes and the ssbc 14" front brakes. What is the difference between the 2 kits. Also is there a diffence in the ss front brakes and the regular silverado front brakes? Sorry for the newb question!
