  1. a couple of weeks ago i bought some new rims and had my tires i took off my stock wheels put on them. i started having vibration in the steering wheel and i brought it in to be rebalanced. they rebalanced but its still doing it. the vibration starts at 60-65 mph, but if you keep it steady at that speed it will stop after a little bit, but pick up again if you come off of that speed and then go back to it. i think it could be my tires because of going from a 8.5 inch wide wheel to 9.5 inch wheel with the same tires. could this be the reason? anyone else ever have this problem? any help would be cool. thanks :chevy:

  2. if you want -3/-4 I highly recommend using spindles for the front, with a minor torsion key adjustment, and leafs for the back. IMO this is the best way to go..

rear springs are advertised at -3 but other members and myself will tell you its right at -4 after it sits for a week or two.

if you want to try save some money, you can go with shackles in the rear and achieve the same goal- However there are some cons involved with shackles, Mainly axle wrap; but if your AWD you shouldn't have to worry about that too much

oh yeah... and belltech or mcgaughys.. try stay away from DJM if you can help it

    good luck

yeah mine is an awd... do you know if those kits come with the spindles and everything i need for lowering it? how about the clearance?

  3. whats up everyone! just introducing myself. im here in oklahoma and ive bought my 04 ss on valentines day three years ago. i love it! all my friends give me a hard time because im always cleaning and detailing my truck... :D i look forward to making friends and learning more on this site

  4. hey guys, im new and wondering about lowering my truck. in stylintrucks there is a lowering kit from djm that says that it aligns back to factory wheel alignment specs with no clearence issues. i'd like to know if anyone has used this kit and what it says is correct? i plan on possibly getting the 3/4 kit. any info would be a great help

  5. I've been browsing craiglist/ebay for some nice OEM SSS wheels but haven't found any that have been reasonable on price. I assume 1800 for chrome 20's is a bit pricey wouldn't you.

If anyone has some for sale PM me with finish and your price thanks

i have four chrome oem ss 20's i'll sale for 900 plus shipping. im located in oklahoma. let me know if you're interested
