  1. FWIW I personally wouldn't bother with patch panels. Being from Michigan and owning a body shop there I will tell you the patch panel may last for a while but the metal around it will not.

Just my opinion but if you plan on keeping your truck for a long time save your money and do it right the 1st time which means replace the panels....or of course the 2nd option is live in the Desert where its not a problem.

  2. Sure do got all cds out now it just sick them in and spit them out how much you want?

Mine does the same thing..just need to keep pressure on them and it accepts them...well mine does anyway.

I would get another unit if I could find one tho..I pod is ok but would rather have the cd's

  3. Well nm after figuring the total price of buying them and getting them powdercoated (my truck is soon to be painted flat black so i wouldnt leave the rims glossy ph34r.gif) it would be the same price to get the flat black 22'' TBSS reps from tony so im going to stay that route.

Better idea. thumb.gif Those wheels are closeouts I believe and if you were to powder them the plastic rivets will be history, and of course the center caps would have to be done with liquid.

Actually I thought Liquidmetal was already out of biz...

  4. I said the same thing last year (I would be happy getting into the mid to high 12's). You can see how long that lasted --- LMAO!

I don't know what yours should run being as it is mostly stock with exception of the charger, but I bet 13's for sure. Tune is a big part of it and will help you tremendously.

    X100!!!!!

Not to hijack this thread any further but...... Wheatley is the one???

I was going to take it to a local guy that just did my daughters Trans Am, he found 140 more HP on her car. dbanana.gif He had it on the dyno for an afternoon.

  5. Yeah, they're great cars. I'm not positive what the rwhp was. I guess i can dig in the Trans am box and find out.

Well if ya get time great! She has a 6speed so the ET times wont be as good but at least we would have an idea. The rear end is stock so not gonna take a chance on dropping the clutch with the 315s on glue. Hers was built for road racing, unbelievable money was spent on it...the car had 20,105 miles on it when we picked it up in May.

  6. Wow glad to see them run strong even with miles on them. ill cry the day mine hits 100k but ive had mine for 5 years and i've only put like 12k on it. mine is right a 57k and i'm on my 4th trans, 3rd motor and 2 turbo's. i guess you gotta pay to play. :pepsicheer:

    WTF..4 trans..3 motors 2 turbos in 12k???? That thing run 9's in the 1/4???

Sorry dood but to me thats to much carnage for me in that many miles.

Oh dont mind me..Im just jealous driving.gif

  7. Thats what I'm starting to realize. I think I have read the install manual about 5 times and it's all making sense now. I think the only thing that seem s a little tedious is the fuel pump and I think thats cuz I've never had it old or delt with it before. And thanks to Aaron giving me all the details and bdp's of his install I should be good to go.

However I do have a question though....Should I use the programmer until I can take it down to to get tuned? i have it tuned by Black Bear now.

Only read it 5 times so far??? Hell I lost count how many times I read mine crackup.gif

Take the bed off the truck to do the pump, to me it was much easier than dropping the tank.

I was told Magnacharger tune is VIN specific, the guy I got mine from sent it back to them and they "tuned" it for my truck. Personally I dont think they did $hit but I didnt pay the 100 bux either.

If you are gonna take it straight to the tuner I wouldnt worry about it at all.
