I am still up in the air on which ever one I want. I have a 6 month "vacation" coming up so it won't be until I get back. Although the 05 Silverado VHO is a steal at 16K with 25K miles on it. I really need to stay away from Houston right now...lol Its bad enough parking these 4!!

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I found two interesting trucks in Houston. I might take a trip out there soon. an 05 VHO Silverado and an 06 VMAX Sierra. The Siverado is white and the Sierra is Black (my favorite color on trucks) but has 60K miles. The Silverado has 25K. They want just about the same for both. Same Dealership

Heres my T Top 86 Monte SS. I bought it in Feb and it has a 355 2004r, longtubes, 2.5 inch true duals into Dynomax mufflers dumping at the axle. More plans and work to come on this one soon. My dads C10 shortbed Stepside. 250 inline 6 with a 3 speed manual. The daily driver 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood with a stock LT1

Thanks for the welcome fellas (and ladies?) Heres a few pics of the current rides. I have my eye on an 05 VHO out in Missori City,TX also. Here's my "baby" It's a 1984 Monte Carlo SS with a Comp cam Magnum Valvetrain 4 bolt main 350 topped off with a TPI setup with heavier injectors, a custom chip, longtube headers, 2.5 inch pipes going into 40 series Flowmasters dumping at the rear axle. Its a fun ride. I sold my 1981 2wd Blazer in the pics a month ago.

Just checking in finally. I have been in the market for a 2wd Silverado SS for awhile but recently learned about the wonderful worlds of VHO and VMAX Silverados. A friend from work who is a member here owns an 06 Victory red 2wd SS. Ever since that first ride in his, I knew some day I would have my own. I am a newb here but have owned nothing but GM RWD vehicles since 2002. I also do all of my own work. I am a vehicle mechanic in the USAF. Current rides are: 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood(LT1), 1984 Chevy Monte Carlo SS(TPI 350), 1986 Monte Carlo SS T Top (Carb 355), and soon to be my dads 1981 Chevy C10. In a few months I will be selling or trading in the Fleetwood for a VHO or SS. J
