yea theyd have to try to fix it 4 times, after that if the problem has not been resolved or the car sits with them for longer than 30 days during the warrintied time it is dubbed a lemon. and i really wanna go about this in a civil manner. all the other guys were very nice and understanding except for the lying snake that told me he was gonna wholesale the truck. i honestly dont think raising a little cain will accomplish much. but idk maybe it might. i got a pretty long fuse but it is shortening as we speak.

yea but i think bc i actually frove it off the lot its considered used and they would have to mark it as such reducing its value. so if they did give me the truck back theyd actually be losing money. and i could find another ss but it would be my ss ya know??

bad ass silvy, i went directly through honda, as far as i know the deal has gone through?? not sure though. 1.9%apr rate for 60 months was the terms.

how much do u think i could get for the car. its only got 1000 miles on it and its a 2012 si fully loaded. paid 24 for it. i looked up kbb and nada but its to new to be considered used i guess bc its not listed anywhere under used. im thinking theyd make me keep my loan too. be paying 150 a month for a truck that i owned and was fully paid off.

well guys traded in my SS for a 2012 Civic SI. And i ****ing hate it. car started out real nice but now im seeing what a big pos it really is. the car dosent wanna shift into first and second. the radio makes this stupid popping noise occasionally. they gave me 16 for my truck and the car is 24 so my loan was roughly 8gs. paying 156 a month for 60 months. ive never been so upset. not bc of the proce or anything but bc i traded my perfect truck for this problem ridden new car. and it is NEW! the guy told me that they werent even gonna keep the truck and that they were gonna wholesale but guess what i saw at the front of the lot when i pulled in to get a service appointment. guy straight fu88ing lied to me. i seriously feel heartbroken. the ss was my first, and on top of that was given to me by my father. im seriously thinking about buying it back, idc if i take a little loss. i dont want this car anymore. i know im probably typing like an idiot but idc, im just so fracking mad. would getting the truck back be financial suicide?? should i just ride the car out, idk. cmon guys i need some serious cheering up lol.

I think that He is talking about the 5.3 or the 4.8 Intakes because there both cathedral shaped intake ports. The newer 6.0 and 6.2 motors have the D-shaped intake port heads. I'm also interested in a 2007,5.3 intake if its not damaged and the price is right. Thanks kevinh

Don't forget a good steering stabilizer for the front end. Also you can go a easy way and extend the swing arm, run an adjustable shock bar (a bar that takes place of the shocks that has rod ends on it for adjustability and no suspension travel) and put some wheelie bars on the back. For the frame i'd reinforce the neck area, add gussetts in the back and run solid motor mounts.
Yea ill be runnnig a ohlins electronically controlled one its pretty sick i just got it in the mail the other day, as your speed increases it stiffens and at low speeds its supposed to be like its not even there. i still wanna drive it around so i thought this was a pretty cool idea. and the swing arm is extended, but idk if ill be running an adjustable shock bar or not. NO WHEELIE BAR hahaha c'mon still want to involve a little altitude. yes frame dose need to be reinforced like you said. solid motor mounts?? i know a lot of guys usually run those on their racing rigs but im not completely sold yet. for some reason i imagine it would rattle me and my bike to pieces lmao. and like stated above i still wanna play a little on the streets and i heard solid motor mounts and are murder in the roads.

the truck was sold within a week of it being there. took the si to have it looked at today and my babys gone. on the bright side the si is running better, perhaps it just needed to be broken in a little more. oh well. i just hope whoever bought her takes care of her.
