GLASSPACKS FTW! got 3 inchers on mine and sounds perfect, drones a little but nbd.... shakes the rear window under load though lol

been hearing this unusual noise lately when letting off the gas, and i can feel it in the front end too its almost like a faint grinding.... sounds fairly similar to a flat tire with the whomp whomp whomp noise but not really if u kinda get what im saying lol... anyways buddy of mine told me its probably the wheel bearing or something in the hub up front... really hoping its not too serious cuz i really dont feel like shoveling out the dough right now lol any advice is appreciated guys thanks so much (p.s. i dont get paid till two weeks from now think its safe to drive on?) - trev

i know on my SSS it almost always drops into drive or reverse pretty hard and could easily be described as a "clunk"..... been doing that since i took her off the showroom floor lol... as for the whining these trucks are notorious for front end problems, specifically whining or howling as you described it (so i've heard but never experienced)

just wanted to share my experience today lol... i had left something at home today on the way to work and had to turn around, and being pissed i was driving the truck like i stole it lol, tonight i was a tad bored so i decided to put the hammer down and boy did she take off!!! it was the weirdest thing ive ever experienced lol shes never pulled that hard. i was thinking cuz i run 87 octane on the truck that maybe it just had a bunch of junk in the heads or something.... sure felt like i cleaned it out! haha

seems like a great offer man, if i had the golden dabloons i wouldnt hesitate. Gotta remember its still gonna have all fords factory warranties!!

yupp i had the same problem. wound up being the rear heatshield protecting the spare. cut that sucker off and bam... no more rattles.

so i had the rice burner rx8 pull up to me today and try to make some noise lol so we raced and i was surprised... mind u both cars were stock (we pulled up to a dunkin affter together to see what we had) all mine has is glasspacks... we had 3 little runs and he beat me twice, the last time i BARELY took him... i was highly upset lol... are our motors severly overrated or something? lol i feel like our trucks arent as fast as they should be

alright im in need of desperate help here... my rotors and pads were junk so i ran down to the closest automotive store (autozone) and got new rotors and pads, nothing crazy just oem stuff not severe duty or anything, and semi metallic pads... had them professionally done and man u shoulda seen the old rotors they were contacting maybe an inch on all sides on every single one... it was bad... anyways they are squeaking like crazy!!!! its like nails on a chalk board... i do notice however when i get them really hot it stops... autozone says i need a new hardware kit? idk... please help

i ran across a video on youtube recently of a guy running his awd ss on aa 2 wheel dyno! i looked at the video comments and i saw that someone asked the question of how he didnt get the front wheels to spin (its mechanical not electric like on the srt8 jeeps and stuff so u cant just put a switch) and he replied that you can take the front shaft off?!?! aret u gonna lose tremedous power?!?!? as far as i know our trucks are spread 30% front 70% rear right???? so 30% loss in power?!? please help bc if it dosent my front drive shaft is coming off as soon as i get home from work lol

Ok so i recently posted a post about my hour long drive and how my ligths started pulsing under throttle, well i recently took the alternator comletely out and took it to autozone for a test and they said nothing was wrong with it, however i did get my battery tested and they said it was no good, so i bought a new one. but guess what, yep pulsing lights again. i mean could it possibly be a ground or lose wire or something? note my volt meter is incosistent and does jum from under 14 to about 17 when this pulsing is occuring. i really think its the voltage regulator bet there telling me its not. please help - trev

alright so i was told by numerous mechanics that my alternators shot, anyone near newburgh ny that knows someone who could re-build them? if not i need to get a new one, just need to know if its a 2 pin or 4 pin
