Hey everybody! I am new here and I bought a red '04 Silverado SS from my father-in-law over the summer. It had 70k on it and I have put 10k on it. After I drive, park, and walk around the front of it, I can smell coolant. I have no noticeable leaks and it seems to run fine. My father-in-law said the truck has always used coolant. He purchased it new. Any ideas? Heads or gasket? I also have a service air bag light that decided to kick on and and service engine light! The engine code was an emissions code. The dealer reset it and said to replace the fuel cap. The service engine light is still off for now. Are any of these issues common with this truck or am I just having bad luck?! I have driven a cummins diesel for the previous 7 years and know them pretty well but wanted to go back to GM. I love the look and feel of this SS! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
