It seems to have been the remote starting security system. I guess something to the effect that the truck itself was conflicting with the remote start.

Ya..but I dont believe they have the Gloss painted Black one.......

I havent been able to locate one of these and the dealer said that they discontinued the gloss black light cover that goes over the license plate bulb....I need the one on the right when viewing from the back(not sure if they are different from one on the left?) Thanks!!!

Ok thanks!! Also I was looking on their but didnt see the rear license plate light covers. The little gloss cover that goes over the actual bulb housing.....any ideas where I can get one of them??? Thanks for your help!

It just turned 90k. I know its in need of a transmission service which I was actually going to have done tomorrow.

I have an 03 Silverado SS and lately when i go to take off, it doesnt have the power it should when taking off. Also when I am getting up to speed it doesnt seem like the truck is shifting into the next higher gear because the RPMs continue to stay high. Anyone experienced this problem???? Thanks!

Would you be willing to sell the drivers side headlight only? If so how much? Is it the same as the 03? Also what is the condition of the lens? Pictues? Thanks! Brad

Well i had the stock shocks on it before which i thought maybe were going bad so i replaced them all with Monroe shocks(Not the best out there, but descent). I'm not really sure what to look for to see if they did hangers too. I was doing some researching and heard that some install those as well. I ended up trimming another nub off today and it still had the problem but maybe seemed to not be as bad...Will road test again in the morning. I appreciate all the help and advice!

So i have a 2003 SS with the extended cab. I purchased this vehicle from a private owner who had at some time installed the Western Chassis 2" drop shackles. I noticed after looking under the rear that they even trimmed some of the rubber bumpstop off. The problem is that the truck going over some highways starts vibrating ridiculously. I had all the shocks replaced and the truck aligned and it still continues to shake. Should they have done something else other than just installing the shackles in the rear so that it doesnt ride so bumpy? Thanks!
