  1. Seems like it could be the steering column squeaking I don't know. So you think it could be the common steering column squeal?
  2. I have a nice exhaust on it, I have a true dual with 3" pipes all the way with dual flowmaster super 44s and 4.5" tips what do you guys got on yours anything good?
  3. ok so when i drive and the roads a little bumpy it makes something kinda just squeak as if something that is metal on metal is lose. It seems to be coming from behind the dash on the drivers side near the drivers door. I do have an audio system so that could have possibly vibrated something loose under the steering wheel maybe? anyone have this same problem or have any suggestion what it could be? its a pretty quite noise u can only hear it when you have the music down all the way but its just annoying.
  4. its a valley hitch max towing capacity is 6000lbs
  5. alright i looked for my wiring and i can not find it i can find a 7 pin plug? do i need an adaptor and there is actually a little wire next to it that looks like it just has a little wire tap on it or w.e. i found the wires actually clipped to the main wire harness above the spare tire. Do i need to wire a 4 pin harness or get an adapter to go from the 7 prong plug thing to a 4 prong plug that i need. Sorry im a little new with the whole trailer thing
  6. I just bought a nitro bass boat and i am in need of putting a hitch on my truck to tow it. Can anyone tell me exactly what i will need in order to do this because i dont believe i have the plugs either for the electric brakes on the trailer?
  7. i had the entire sysem installed at best buy so they are the ones that are going to try all these things out. Def seem to have some good ideas flowing though im definitely going to try all of these. I appreciate the input on an ongoing annoying issue
  8. Alrite I have been having an issue with my 05 SS for several months now. I had a 7in kenwood navigation touch screen head unit installed as well as 2 12" alpine subs under the back seat in a custom box, and a 750 watt kicker mono-channel amp. I had my headunit replaced by best buy thinking that it was the headunit creating the whine because you could move the rca connection in the back and the whine would fluctuate, getting louder and more quite. However it did not stop the issue the whine is gradually coming back, and it fairly loud and only gets louder as you accelerate. We tried a ground loop isolator in between the rcas and headunit, tried regrounding the grounds, replacing the conversion module for the factory integration with the bose system, we have tried almost everything. Im wondering if anyone has heard of this being a problem, or if anyone has any suggestions to try to fix this? any suggestions are appreciated... Thanks
