I just bought a Volant CAI with a powercore filter for my 03 SS, kinda excited but for only $225 shipped you can't beat that?...I think I can do it but is there any better instructions to install it?

I decided to go with two 4" round magnaflow mufflers. My welder charged me 50 plus tax to put them in and it sounds mean and loud...Now I need to better Intake. Any Suggestions? I am looking at Volant and AEM or K & N...I havent heard much rave about AEM so its closer to Volant. Anyone wanna chime in?

Do they make 3" SI/SO flowmonsters? I keep hearing flowmonster is better than magnaflow but it seems to me the 3" SI/SO magnaflow is the same as a flowmonster?

This is legal in all states? It kinda looks like two straight pipes and you used your stock pipes with that? It sounds really nice...Does it crackle and pop on WOT or is it smooth?

That sounds nice...real nice...Why do you need two though? Sorry if this is a dumb question I am a carpenter not a mechanic so I am a little new to the whole world of modding.

do you know the part number and where you got it? Did it cost alot to swap and weld?

I am just looking for a cheap way out...I am doing a broke man's modification. I just got my truck and I already bought a aem brute force cai and can't afford a whole exhaust system. I am simply looking for a deeper tone. I believe the stock SS's should sound meaner but they dont! I was thinking a magnaflow muffler swap would do the trick and keep the stockers? thanks for the reply though even though I didnt think anyone would respond. Is the SS 2.5" DO/DO or 3"?

Does anyone know the magnaflow part number for a direct weld on of a 03 SS stock exhaust replacement? I want to junk my stock too and put in a magnaflow but dont know the measurements or part numbers?

I have a 03 SS and I wanted to swap out my old muffler for a magnaflow muffler and possible keep the stock pipes? I know it is dual in single out but anyone know part numbers and sizes? thank you

I am in a search to modify my newly acquired 03 SS with a dual exhaust. I believe the SS should sound meaner and more agressive? What is a better fit, magnaflow or flowmaster or gibson and why? Also does anyone on here trying to sell one or trade for stock?
