  1. Is there a special kind you need to buy or will the regular silverado hitchs work? Most of the time it says (will not fit ss model). Can someone please send me a link to the hitch I need for my 05 ss silverado? Thanks!
  2. Just got a polaris predator 500 troy lee. When I went to load it in the SS it barely fit. Kinda had to drive up and over the wheel wells. Anyway if anyone wants to have one hell of a fun toy I recommend buying one of these. Its a little quicker then the ss up to 60 mph.
  3. I would go with the w1 v2s. They were designed for tight enclosers and they sound awsome.
  4. Thanks, I was starting to get worried about it.
  5. I have an 05 ss silverado and about 1 in every 20 times I start it it gives a little jerk. Just enough so you can feel it slightly. It happens the second I turn the key and the engine fires. What do you guys think the problem is?
  6. I installed 2 12'' w1 v2 subs in a stealth box under the rear seat. Powering them is a 400-2 rockford amp. I used the factory bose deck so it made it kind of a pain but we got it done!. Looks and sounds GREAT! It hurts my ears so I turned the amp to about 1/8 of the way up. I'll post pics soon.
  7. My drivers side electric seat adjustment isn't working properly. All the adjustments work except the up & down on the front. Anybody know what it cost and how to fix this? Thanks
  8. Sucks the motor blew but the 408 stroker should be wicked!
  9. I'm in Great Falls. If your ever in town hit me up and I'll buy ya a beer. Your SS looks bad ass. It has some serious mods.
  10. Thanks for the welcome. The car dealership paid off the vette and I took out a new loan for the ss. Another plus to the ss was my payments dropped about $50.00/month. Insurance only went down $27.00 every 6 months. It must be nice to have an ss silverado and a corvette c6! Thats my goal.
  11. Had to trade in my 05 c6 vette for this but its much more practical in Montana. It was a longggg winter in that vette. Only things done to it are 22'' rims, brand new nitto tires and tinted windows. Today I'm going to install an amp kit and have 2 12'' subs in a stealth box under the rear bench seat. I'm also going to purchase a touch screen nav. off ebay. Love the truck so far and I'm really trying to figure out some affordable things to do under the hood.
