  1. I have an intresting problem... I am 'adopting' 4 more kids for a total of 7. When you add my wife and I thats 9. We have 2 trucks that I need a front-row center fold-up seats (I see them all the time in base model extended cabs with the 40/20/40 front seats... I need the 20%). The first is in a 2005 Yukon XL with a grey interior and stereo controls in the back of the center console. While the Yukons interior is leather I'm fine with the cloth center seat since that seems to be the most prevelant. The problem I'm having is that I can find center seats for 99-02's but NOT for 03-07's. I see that the 03 up seats have the built in arm rest whereas the 02 down do not. Dimensionally are these the same? It looks like a 99-02 it should bolt in but will the coushin fit correctly? Many Thanks, David
  2. How much do you want for it shipped to 43311? Do you have the dash filler panel as well? What color is the seat?
  3. Sounds great! I guess I'm not sure if I have grey or charcoal but I can take a picture and text it to you if that would help? I just moved to Bellefoutaine OH (Zip 43311) - how about yourself? Shoot me a message with your number (I don't know how to privately) and lets talk via the phone. Many Thanks, David ps- compared to the 04 SS I just sold I'm thinking this might be lighter in color but not by much.
  4. I have an intresting problem... actually in two trucks. I need 3 front-row center fold-up seats (I see them all the time in base model extended cabs with the 40/20/40 front seats... I need the 20%), 1 in grey, and 2 in tan. I have 2 center console to trade or sell to make this happen. The first center console is in a 2005 Yukon with a grey interior and stereo controls in the back of it. For this we are looking for a front center seat (the 20%) in grey. While the Yukons interior is leather I'm fine with the cloth center seat but leather would be great. The other is in a 2005 Escalade ESV with a light tan interior. This one has a 6 disc changer in it and a Cadillac Clock. For this truck I need 2 front center consoles... one for the front row and another to fill the gap between the 2 second row buckets. I need both these trucks to be able to seat 9 and this looks to be the best way to do. Many Thanks, David PS- I've attached a picture of what I am looking for... Many Thanks!
  5. I have a Cadilac Escalade that I need to convert from Center Counsole to Jump Seat like it sounds like you did. (7 Kids will do that for you) and I wonder if you could detail the ways you dealt with the heater vents, wiring, etc.
  6. I would love to hear from anyone else who HAS received parts from him... If I get my parts I'm good - if not I'll be very hacked!
  7. OH how I wish I would have read this post about 2 weeks ago! I sent Mark money for a brake duct and center grill and now get no response on his phone or email! I will let everyone know if this situation changes but otherwise I would STRONGLY advise against buying anything! If anyone knows his ebay handle I would like to get it - I'm hoping to contact him in other ways... GRRRRR!!!!!
  8. Is there any known (more common) truck that shares the same length?? I don't mind if its steel rather then aluminum... I'm seeing some pretty staggering prices on a new stock shaft! Yikes!
  9. I have 2004 SS with a 1 inch deep dent in my rear driveshaft! Its producing a nice vibration at speeds over 55MPH so I need to replace it ASAP. So since $$$ are tight I would prefer to get a driveshaft that will fit and is cheap rather then 100% orginal. So the question is will a stock rear drive shaft from a 99 4x4 extended cab with a 5.3 work? There are several of them in the local yard and I'm guessing can be had for $30 or so.
  10. I need the passenger side front brake duct for a 2004 Silverado SS - it doesn't have to be perfect but I am looking to buy it soon. Thanks, David
  11. I have found my truck (2004 SS) has a fairly large dent in the rear driveshaft... after doing a little looking online it appears that Silverado's 1500s came with about 20 different driveshafts.... so my question is this - what driveshafts will BOLT in. I'm not to worried about it being exactly the same but obvoiusly length is critical. For example, at our local junkyard there are 2 Extended Cab 1999 Silverado 1500 4x4s... does anyone know if they fit (because the online interchange doesn't seem to support it but that may different diameter???) Thanks for your help! If worst comes to worst I'll drive out and measure but I'd like to avoid a wasted trip if someone knows it off the top of thier head.
  12. Not the tires - anyone else have any suggestions on how to diagnose this problem? I hate to just start throwing parts at it...
  13. I haven't but the frequency feels to much faster then an out of balance tire - I think I will do that though as a start.
  14. I just bought an 04 SS Silverado with 123k on it - I love the truck but it has a few issues to work out. Through light acceleration up to 40-50mph I don't hear or feel a thing... as I get up to 67-75mph I feel a vibration from what feels like the front end. It seems to increase in hard acceleration from 60-75mph as well as when I'm doing 75mph and I take my foot completely off the gas. I'm having trouble isolating the source of the vibration and need your 'troubleshooting' advice. As I see it I have 3-4 possible sources. 1. Front driveshaft U-Joints - This is my 'seat of the pants' guess as the cyclic nature, frequency, etc, etc feels like a rear u joint problem I had on my 99 Silverado. When I get under it and twist on the shaft I don't feel play but it doesn't look like its ever been touched. 2. Front Axle - I've read several posts that talk about front axle issues - I don't notice a growl however. 3. Wheel Bearings - At low speeds (20mph) I noticed that when I turn hard (like in an open parking lot) that I can hear an occasional grinding noise from the left front? With that said however when I jack it up and feel for play they seem tight. It also doesn't make sense to me that acceleration or deacceleration would play into the equation if this was the problem. So my question is what 'tests' or logic do I apply to isolating the issue. Many Thanks, David
