  1. $150 shipped to the lower 48 for the spindles. A great Christmas present to yourself and/or your truck!
  2. Bump. $175 shipped to the lower 48 for the spindles. Boxed up and ready to ship!
  3. Keys have sold and will be shipped out today. Spindles still up for grabs.
  4. Good evening everyone. I don't frequently visited the silveradoss site anymore, but I have a couple items that may interest some members here. For sale are a set of Belltech 2” drop spindles and McGaughy’s torsion bar lowering keys. These were installed on my 2005 Silverado 4wd (see truck pic below). I rode with this front suspension combo for 5 years without any CV, ball joint, or tie-rod issues. The front end always aligned perfectly fine with this combo. I just recently changed the original ball joints at 175,000 miles on the odometer and went back to stock 4wd ride height. The Belltech spindle kit is #2508 and according to the manufacturer will fit any AWD, 4WD, or 2WD NBS. All the original parts and directions are included. Please note that you must use 17” or larger rims to fit these spindles. The cheapest I found that you can purchase this kit is from Amazon.com (brand new) for $250 with free Prime shipping. The McGaughy’s "Blue" torsion bar lowering keys are part# 33005 can be purchased new for around $100 from many various sites. On 275/55/20s back in its glory days Asking $200 Shipped for the spindles to the lower 48. Asking $50 Shipped for the torsion bar keys to the lower 48. Or bundle both for $225 shipped to the lower 48 If you are local to mid-Michigan and can come pick both up (zip 48895), I’ll take $200. Thank you all for looking.
  5. Officially SOLD SOLD SOLD to Downeast Johnny!
  6. **Sale Pending to Downeast Johnny** Just working out the logistics now. Glad to see these going back on a Silverado SS, where they belong!
  7. Oh the geographical logistics of living in the mitten, lol. I tried and tried and tried to figure out a feasible way to make it work....to no avail. I do appreciate the kind words though gentlemen. One last bump on here for the weekend. Exclusively advertising here for 48 more hours. Next week, Monday June 2nd, I'll sadly put an add in my local craigslist and a few other forums.
  8. Memorial Day weekend bump. Keeping them exclusively on this forum for one more week. I know location is a killer, but I'd be willing to drive and meet anyone within 3 hrs of zip code 48895. I'll eat the cost for my tank of gas. For geographical points of reference (East to West), a 3 hour drive gets me around: Cleveland, OH Mansfield, OH Delaware, OH Sidney, OH Muncie, IN Peru, IN Gary, IN ...and pretty well anywhere in the lower peninsula of Michigan Let me know if you are interested. Every time I see them in the garage I'm tempted to throw these back on the truck. Save me from myself. Enjoy the holiday weekend gentlemen!
  9. Let me know. Even though I know people float here from different forums (heck I did when I bought these) I'm going to keep this ad to the SSS website until June. I would prefer these to go back on an SS truck, that's where they belong. Thank you sir! I/we appreciate the kind words. I'll try and minimize my bumps to every 4ish days. Don't want to whore up the for sale section. I will check back in daily though. Have a good weekend gentlemen!
  10. Thanks. It was a nice project and it came out really good. What part of Illinois are you from? A 3 hour drive gets me around Gary, IN. That's about as far as I would like to travel, but that's open to negotiations. Thanks! Agreed on losing the boot. I tried it for a while, but didn't like it. The insert I made is MUCH cleaner and simpler. All PMs returned.....keeping this posted only on this site for now. Would really like to get these back on an appropriate SS platform.
  11. If you're still interested, I posted a set in the for sale section last night.
  12. Thank you! I appreciate it. Scary and exciting all at the same time PM sent and because I know you guys can appreciate it, here's my thread on installing a console shifter in my truck. I referenced some information from this site while doing it.
  13. I know I don't have many posts on here. Actually the only reason I registered here was to buy these SSS rims off a member in 2010. But, I've been an active member on gmfullsize.com for the last 4 years. I'm returning to this site to try and get these SSS rims back into the hands of an Silverado SS owner who can appreciate/respect them. I know you can buy chrome reps on eBay, and if you're ok with that, then please do so. I haven't posted these anywhere else because this community deserves first crack at them. Reason for selling is my wife and I are having our first child in July and I've decided to liquidate what I can live without to free up some cash. I planned on keeping these forever, but it's funny how quickly perspective changes when you see that ultrasound. Anyway, on to the product. Factory Chrome 20" Silverado SS rims Falken Ziex 275/55/20 tires with about 35% tread left 4 Center Caps included Rims have never seen snow, salt, offroad, curbs, or tracked car washes. They've always been hand washed with soap and water, and hand dried. Tires have no cuts, gouges, or plugs. As mentioned, the tires have about 35% tread left on the tires (I estimate you could get 10,000 more miles out of them). I put around 5-6000 miles a year on them while I've owned them. This combo has always been put on in April, rotated in June/July, and removed in October. I've taken great pride in owning these and understand/appreciate their rarity. Pics: GM stamping. You can actually see my truck in the garage behind) Tire/Rim #1 (farthest left) Tire/Rim #2 (middle left) Tire/Rim #3 (middle right) Tire/Rim #4 (farthest right) On the truck I'm located in mid-Michigan (Lansing area) and would prefer not to ship, as it would kill the deal. I am willing to drive a few hours to meet someone in the middle (we can negotiate fuel into the price). Asking $1200 for everything, cash only. I'm basing that price off what I can find on eBay, as I have nothing else to go off. Please know that you are getting a genuine GM product that has been well cared for and will serve you and your ride well. If you need/want any more photos, then please let me know. Thank you for your time gentlemen. I hope someone can find these a good home. ~Ben
