finally got it fixed, the gain knob on the boss harness needed to be tuned to match the radio! works perfect! which wire behind the headlight/dimmer panel do i hook the illumination wire to?

funny story about the badges, here we go.... Soo they keep the badges off until they make sure you are satisfied with the paint job and dont need to have it redone, or anything like that, so after getting my truck back on an overcast day it looked flawless, first sunny day came around and..... the black is off from the factory! The hood, roof, and tailgate cladding pieces are the only factory painted parts remaining and the difference was plain as day! the new paint was an off black/super dark/murky grey. So, I took it back to the dealership who painted it, didnt even bother going to the body shop manager due to the fact that he blew my truck off for two weeks I had had enough of him and went straight to my best friends dad (who happens to own the dealership) he saw it and I am taking my truck in wednesday to get repainted and was given the $1000 dollars that I paid for my 2 deductibles back! So all in all its going to be alright, new paint job and I dont have to pay a cent for it!

So i got my 35w 10,000k kypton hids from my girl for christmas and we were expecting them to be super blue, or (cobalt blue) as they advertise, they are not the least bit blue and I am quiet disapointed due to the false advertising on the website, probably going to return them, she emailed the company and is waiting for a reply

NEED HELP! Got everything working good on it, but noticed that distortion in the front passenger speaker and talked to unclad4 and said it is probably a connection issue, or even interference from the bose amp, thenn yesterday I had to turn it up to 25 to even hear the music at all on everything, and fully turned up was like the unit on 10 normally, is there a setting i need to change or a way to bypass the bose amp or something?

Bought my SSS when I was a Senior in high school, Its been my dream truck since I was 14 or so. Driving a SSS at 18 years old in a small town turns a lot of heads for sure! so after 4 weeks of the door for my truck being on backorder, I am finally getting it back tomorrow at noon. This has not been an easy road for me, last week on tuesday they got the door in and said it would be done on friday, then I called on friday and apparently they didnt work on it at all the whole week, and lied when they said all they had left to do was paint the door. Then they said itd be done yesterday, but they didnt get it done, and then they said itd be done today, and again, they didnt get it done, after multiple calls to the manager of the body shop and some choice words, its getting done tomorrow at noon. GOOD NEWS: Everything on the truck besides the hood and roof got repainted Pioneer AVH-P4200 INSTALLED Krypton Bulbs 35w 10,000k Came in the mail!

how long did it take you to get your hids in the mail with the flat rate shipping option?

do i just cut those off of the harness then? and what could the cut out be coming from?

Harness is the GMOS-04 and my truck is at the shop getting the damage fixed from hitting a deer so i'm not for sure on the wires that are left but i remember seeing left rear positive on one of them, but the rest were unmarked im pretty sure

so needless to say, I had a hecktick night of installing, I was sent the wrong wiring harness so I ended up having to go to bestbuy to get the correct one, and now am having a hard time getting the unit it mount properly, It is sticking out a little farther then I would like it to. The new wiring harness is the one with the aux jacks for the speakers instead of having to wire them together, is that the way its supposed to go? There are 4 aux jacks, but still a few wires left over that I have no idea where they go, there is nothing in the instructions about them either. All the speakers work and everything, but there is the occasional cut out or static on the ipod, help please?

Pac audio SWI-RC 3.5mm wire plugs into the unit via which jack?

is it easier to connect it? or just mess with the settings manually at night?

does the dimmer wire need to be connected? it doesnt appear to have been connected before, but im just curious

my boss harness is a PAC audio- C2R-GM24, I have the bose system, but no onstar is that correct?

another thing, im not seeing a blue wire for remote on the gm boss harness, I have a blue one for power antenna but thats it ******
