    Thinking about buying an Escalade as a DD/beater to keep the miles off the SS and the dog out of it.

      Yeah. Escalade beater. Good friend is about to trade in his 03' ESV Escalade with 130k. He is only expecting to get 5k out of it and doesn't care if the money comes from me or the dealer.

      A friend has a 12' Sierra Denali w/ that combo that I have driven several times. Awesome powertrain. This Escalade has the same ol' drivetrain as the SS
